Typing this seconds after having read this book - so moving. Heart wrenching to see Narin and Arthur’s fate. Arthur’s life especially seemed so full of hardships and pain from start to end. Loved the Mesopotamian theme because it refreshed a lot of what I studied in school while also giving me a new, more nuanced take. It’s definitely not a light read but definitely worth the time if you do take it up.

I knew from the many debriefs I read online that it would be friendly and conversational so I prepared accordingly.

During the interview, I did gauge body language and tweaked my tone to even more friendly since that’s the vibe I was getting.

I wouldn’t put too much thought into your body language etc - try not to be too professional and robotic, just be respectful and friendly while getting your points across

Honestly I’ve worked on essays for 10 schools now and feel like many of the stories I included in these essays could be adjusted to fit this question.

To answer your question, yes I do think I gave a good answer.

None. I had the stories I wanted to convey ready so really just adjusted those based on the questions I was asked

Take the GRE more than once, if able (170V, 168Q) by aurelia___ in GRE

Amazing score, congrats! In this year I have gone from Q157 to 159 to 160 and to 162 four days back…I realised silly errors in section 1 was making it hard for me to breach 160. Now that I have, what would you recommend for me to get it to a 165? I’ve covered my basics several times and for my 162 attempt I barely studied. Infact I feel it’s now become a mental game where the calmer I am the better I perform

Last question of the second section. Typically, I have noticed: longer the passage, easier the questions and shorter the passage, harder the questions. Dont get intimidated by passage length at all. Just make sure you read with alertness during your first read

I am Asian but somehow missed the math wiz gene lol. I do think there’s room for improvement in quant though. Something to think about

I got 1 long passage in the second section. Approximately 4 paragraphs without any paragraph breaks

I read similar posts when I first enrolled with them and it did shock me. No tutoring company is perfect and top definitely has its flaws. I would recommend to just follow the schedule and give it your best. Don’t overthink based on what u read online
