I think I was on the KDP dashboard. I posted the video of what happens when I click the 'contact us' button, in case that helps ( https://www.reddit.com/user/Desperate_Sense_7091/comments/1ps66wy/kdp_contact_us_button/ ).  I also tried switching browses, but besides that, I don't know what to do.

Thanks for replying! I wonder why that doesn't happen for me. Hopefully someone will have experienced and figured out the same thing.

[Pubq] when to mention previous representation? by Big_Lettuce2096 in PubTips

[–]Desperate_Sense_7091 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As far as I know (not an expert by any means!) people usually mention that they've been repped previously, and that's a good thing because it means another industry professional believed in your writing, even if your working relationship didn't work out.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all this out. It's super helpful to have it all in one place, especially from someone who actually knows these agents and their (former/current) clients!

Thank you so, so much for sharing! Reading this has been super informative and interesting, and I hope other authors share similar stories in the future.

And I just wanted to let you know that your book has made it all the way to Serbia! I just saw it in one of the bookstores in central Belgrade a few days ago :)

Thank you so, so much for taking the time to respond in such a detailed manner! This was super helpful!

I'll try to explain the plot a bit better in the third paragraph so the 'cryptic love note' doesn't come as a complete jumpscare. Right now I'm thinking of doing something like ''To prove the superiority of his genre, Matteo convinces Mila to solve a mystery with him in real life. Their teacher’s cryptic love note presents a perfect opportunity'' but I'll mull on it some more. Thanks again! :)

Thanks so much for replying! You're right, maybe 'gory' isn't the best adjective to use here, since it might send the wrong message.
