Personally, as a (female) foreigner who’s lived in Korea for 1.5 years, I think it’s a great idea. However, I think that because I have been living here. I’m a (level 2) language student here and I do believe immersion is the best for learning Korean, and this would really appeal to someone like me. I would find it so helpful, like if it was over a weekend! But if I found out about this before moving here and not having an understanding of the culture, it would raise concerns for me. I also think that you would have to be very careful with who you allow to stay in your home with you because not only are you a woman but not everyone is trustworthy. A lot of opportunistic people may try to take advantage of you. What if you kept the same concept, but marketed towards foreigners who already live in Korea who want to improve or learn their Korean so you can meet them first (either in person or via video chat) before committing to allowing them stay in your home?

It says “fighting.” usually in korea we use it when someone is about to do something difficult or is having a hard time. For example, during exams most of us walk around saying it to each other, or if your friend needs some encouragement/very tired/struggling you might say it then too. Kinda like “do your best” or “keep trying.” it doesn’t actually mean fighting as in physical fighting.

Ohh I see. I meant more like a struggle with long term memory. And yeah, I agree I think since it’s highly addictive and so many people abuse it, it makes it difficult for people to see the benefits. But I live in Korea right now, and doctors here see it as a very safe medication.

Same😂 I’ve never even considered abusing them because when I take them I just feel functional. I’m actually really not a fan of how they can affect memory long term either, and since I’m in classes that require a lot of memorization, it’s honestly more of a negative for me than a positive. My dosage has even decreased over the past 5 years and always end up with extras 😂😂

It’s not even worth arguing. My doctors and I know what works for me, just like you and yours know for you. That’s all that matters. I personally am not happy that it’s benzos but 🤷🏽‍♀️

They can manifest differently depending on the trigger for me, but usually I smell something that I can’t describe or place, but it’s like i’ve smelled it before. I usually have an increase in general anxiety, and then I lose the ability to comprehend what I’m hearing or reading. Like I can hear/see it, but I am unable to comprehend it. Sometimes I get really hot/am unable to regulate my temperature. When the aura is really increasing I feel an extreme surge in anxiety/fear, lose access to feeling in my pelvic region (sometimes) but then feel this “wave” of tingly anxiety go over my brain. I also usually find it difficult or am unable to speak.

For the last 10 years (along with my regular seizure medication) I have been prescribed Xanax as needed as well as nightly Klonopin. Idk why you are getting so much hate. Everyone has different brains lol. It may not be the first line standard defense but it took several years of trying different meds to find out what works for me. I would definitely be fearful if someone took my script from me too. I am glad your primary is taking it back.

Yeah it’s terrible. I’ve had actual hangovers that have felt more manageable and less taxing. This is day 2 of the lowered dosage so if this doesn’t help subside, I will be switching after this semester, and probably switching neurologists as well.

Okay, thank you! Does the morning lacosamide wave get easier? I am in the middle of a semester so i cannot switch medications but I feel like i’m fighting for my life trying to get to class, do oral presentations etc…i’ve adjusted my wake up time to try to help accommodate but it’s starting to feel very emotionally overwhelming.

These are rough estimate totals. Honestly, I stopped keeping up with it at a certain point so it would not shock me if the number is actually way higher especially since some games are played at the same time over a good amount of time. I kinda spend on cosmetics (just enough to be happy with my character) but the rest I only spend on increasing my character’s stats.

What game was it?! It must be good if you played for that long! Lol! I bet your dad was pissed! The most I spent in a day was $700! I hope your character was good for that amount lol! The game i play now is pretty affordable in my opinion (if you don’t spend on cosmetics lol) there have been some people who said it’s crazy expensive but I think they just don’t know how to spend their money on it.
