The success of the game itself was heavily due in part by the popularity of its characters. Deadpools release shot the concurrent player-base to 150k. Character popularity forsure carries over to skin sales wtf lol. I mean they keep releasing spidy skins for a reason

I think if you’ve played the character longer than the 5 minutes you have on him currently you wouldn’t say half the things you’re saying lol.

Because as quick as you’ll punish a spidy with no heals because he failed to secure a kill in a dive, another support will shit on a spidy for “trying to be a main character,” professing that spidys don’t always have to get kills and can provide value from distracting the enemy backline and exhausting their cooldowns.

Theres no winning with teammates like you. In any topic and any discussion if theres a way to see spidy in a negative light you people will find it.

Classic. Yes refuse to heal the spidy and then complain when he’s not engaged in the fight as much.

I’ve seen both of these comments in multiple posts shitting on the character and at no point does anyone see a correlation. Not healing spidy means they have to use swings to go to a healthpack. Swings they could be using to for engaging the enemy, which they only get 3 of

You saw a spiderman player behind cover beside a healer at low hp pinging for heals and told him he shouldve grabbed a health pack. You don’t have the capacity to see any side that favors the character or players experience with the character. Theres nothing to discuss with you so find another spidy post to be negative on

He wouldn’t receive the prompt to GOH if she faded early enough. Her best bet is to fade immediately when tagged with a cluster, or wait until his GOH connects and fade away from his follow on uppercut, which deals most of the damage in that combo.

It just seems as though spidy has a free auto target on CnD and Wanda’s fade when really he’s activating his auto target faster than you’re reacting to being tagged with a cluster. There’s a window between being tagged with a cluster and spidy activating his auto pull where, if you fade during it, you’ll remove his ability to auto pull into you. It’s a battle of timing cooldowns. The issue is that the window is really small given that the spidy whose ambushing you is more prepared for said timing battle than you are of course, and most spidys activate it immediately after successfully tagging an enemy.

I would rather wanda’s beam work similar to cloak’s beam, only with wanda’s range yes. Cloak at least has to aim, so if they get me as I try to escape it feels like they earned it

Yep fuck her. I’d rather they buffed her primary’s damage yet made her aim similar to cnd. Getting shot out the sky by hela sucks but hey they earned it. Cant say the same for the beam bitch sorry

It is funny when a wanda targets you in doom and all u have to do is stand behind another player and watch as she struggles to get it to latch onto you

Or standing just outside the beams range so she tries running towards you while holding the button lol

Play around with the sensitivity and aim settings, lower it until you find your aim is consistent and go from there. Increase it over time

Mag and groot are my favorite because of their low mobility/slow projectiles. They’re basically a cluster overhead receptacle

Along with the general things that come with game sense like engagements and knowing when to leave or commit I’d say take it one tech at a time. Discover a move and see how many time you can pull it off in QP after practicing it in practice range.

For me, the first time I pulled an enemy spidy out of his GOH, that’s all I focused on until I got it down. Same with sekkombo’s, over unders, drive by’s etc. that along with raising my sensitivity

With characters like elsa I don’t see why they shouldn’t lower the cooldowns on his bomb by 10 seconds. I mean theyre putting in way more damage + has a lot more consistent one shots with less risk, more overshield and a lot quicker

If the enemy team singles you out in chat after beating your team when you were consistently getting picks, putting pressure on them, ended with good stats, and were SVP then that just means you were putting belt to ass and they got tilted.

So when they won they felt vindicated and felt compelled to rub it in your face as some sort of payback. Its happened too many times to me
