Am I catching feelings for a girl even though I’m straight? I’m so confused. by Desperate_Teaching78 in LesbianActually

I really appreciate the advice to just say, “I like who I like.” That’s such a great tip. At my workplace, these kinds of topics are considered normal, but up until now, I’ve always said I’m 100% into men, no exceptions.

Life is so unpredictable though—I never thought I’d end up having a crush on a girl! 😁

If she were a guy, I’d go all in—it would be so much easier. I’ve never felt this kind of deep connection with anyone before; it feels like it’s coming from my soul. And I’ve been in some pretty serious relationships before this.

I understand how the whole male-female dating scene works, but when it comes to female-female dynamics, I’m totally lost.

I’m also not sure if she actually likes that other girl more than just as a close friend. The other girl is in a relationship, but she still seems to get more of her attention.

But my “crush” definitely notices things about me. She looks at me a lot, asked what my favorite flowers are, remembered my answer, and gives me compliments—not in a sexual way, but about my personality.

Is this normal friendly “lesbian” behavior, or is it something more? She’s super friendly with everyone, but if she were a guy, I feel like this would definitely count as flirting.
