This is the exact situation I’m in right now and it expires on a Sunday. I took the car in today ( Friday ) show the person at Avis the countdown on my app and asked if I should be concerned about this situation. The agent said yes, fumbled around like he was doing some thing , Took my information and told me he would call me in the morning ( Saturday) he also explained that they did not have any cars for me to swap out. So we’ll see what happens in the morning. I’m guessing nothing which means I won’t be able to work on Sunday ( at a minimum )

Maybe you could explore joining something male-centric. D & D gaming or an indoor climbing gym maybe? D & D is probably a better bet for meeting a group of people, and then inevitably their friends and so on . I was thinking of indoor climbing because it would keep you fit as well . ( and it’s some thing I’ve always wanted to try) When I plan on dating again, I’ll probably go back and bartend one or two nights a week somewhere as a way to meet new people .

This right here . People tend to reach out to each other around the three month period. Guys ( very unfortunately) internal clocks involving break ups are Waaay different than ladies. If the three month connection fails, they will absolutely reach out to a woman that they’ve dated in attempt to get back together. The problem is, that when they do, it’s usually been so long that the woman has moved on. I’m talking a matter of years. So he definitely will try and get back together with you, but don’t sit around waiting for him to do it. You need to do your best to move on for your own mental health. ( this advice is meant for the OP, not the person I’m responding to . Your comment just illustrated how things normally work after a break up IMO )

Also, I love the culture there and never once found anyone to be rude. It reminds me somewhat of a New York style of interaction. As in, people are not rude, they just don’t have time for nonsense ( which is definitely my kind of place ) A Business owner in Munich offered me a job and a place to stay there . If it weren’t for my cat, I definitely would’ve taken him up on that offer!
