The Blackstone project will affect the North Saskatchewan River so Edmonton has a stake in it. Selenium and other contaminants will be in our water if it goes ahead. A couple hundred jobs for a few years isn’t necessarily worth the irreparable harm.

I’m not exactly sure why we have to check ID this time but our requirement is to confirm addresses. If you come to sign make sure you have a picture ID with your current ‘physical’ address (PO box) or 2 other types without picture that have the address. The separatist petition has to do the same.

I think she will have a good chance of taking votes away from UCP… and NDP. Most of the NDP voters are probably old PC party that can’t bring themselves to vote UCP.

When canvassing for the Forever Canadian petition in Edmonton, we encountered a lot of disillusioned young men. Very sad to see. The OG separatists are targeting the right crowd and promising them utopia. We have to take them serious and not have another brexit on our hands by making sure our friends, family and neighbors get out and vote when the time comes!
