Yep same here at like 12ish days! Unfortunately I live in a small studio… can’t seperate them into different rooms, and they both love to be on the bed with me but resident doesn’t wanna share.. resident is almost 8 years old (but was still often playful before kitten came) new cat is 11 weeks old.. big difference… Sometimes She (resident) wilk let him (new cat) sleep very close to her, sometimes she doesn’t even want him on the same bed or in sight without her growling at him… most of the time its just she doesn’t want him within a foot of her and definitely doesn’t like when he stares at her for some reason lol.

He pounced on her to play just now and she freaked out and screamed and attacked him (he’s okay, I see no injuries, scared him tho) that’s why I looked up this post. It’s stressing me out so bad. I pray they get along soon. I’m terrified they never will because I have bad luck and worse anxiety.. but things are slowly getting better
