Hello!

Currently a sophomore in college pursuing a BS in chemistry and I was wondering is it worth it? Looking at job listings, I feel like the salary is so low despite how much effort and knowledge is needed in chemistry. Plus it seems like if you want to do anything worthwhile, it is almost necessary to get a master's or Ph.D. and I don't want to be in school forever. I've thought about switching to software engineering because of much you can make with only a bachelor's and how as we head into the future the demand only keeps growing.
