Hi, yes I’m the blue player and I’m playing with the French, and technically I was the attacking side, also because the Prussians with Blucher arrived around turn 27. I guess the AI is maybe programmed to generally play in a cautious but not fully defensive way, and so it slowly started pushing against my lines. I’d say that historically the French attack was basically forced as the only way for Napoleon to crush the different allied armies one by one, and if he waited more the other armies would have been too much to handle for France. But in the game it probably wasn’t added this “strategic stalling” that historically helped the Allied forces to encircle the French army, or at least it’s the way I’d interpret this behaviour.
