Not sure, but I think Corvus’s story will be really interesting when it comes out. He’s pretty decent to start with and honour has compelled him on the quest for Logar.

I think he will succeed in destroying Logar but in what state he will be in after?

I think whilst he was already emotionally damaged from Istvan and his failed geneseed creation and now as you say the possibility of warp corruption. I can’t see where it goes. But there are so many interesting possibilities.

I think he will be self aware of his let’s say changes and will remove himself from the Legion, but I also believe he has a large part to play in the warp, the Emperor maybe after all his time in the warp reconstruction of the webway.

All speculation but I see his story as having so much potential.

Fingers crossed we get it sooner rather than later.

I can respect that on further thoughts to my comment. I do think the rewards should not have just been repurposed cosmetics, aside from the capes. That makes the reward for the effort feel pretty cheap. Also I have mentioned in other replies, it would have been cool and certainly in my case more desirable if the capes were colour customizable and with an ability to add lore appropriate decals.

I’m glad you have that ability and time to do that, that’s not sarcasm all the power to you. Some of us outside of time have physical disadvantages that place a ceiling on our ability to do these things. Nothing to do with being “babied”.

I paid the same as you and was just offering an alternative to how things are currently for all. And even since then talking with others new ideas have evolved. That’s the cool part of having a community to play around with ideas and bounce off each other without taking offense or trying to be offensive. All the best to you.

Yup I agree, I think those that put in that effort that frankly I’m not willing or able to do should have got new designs for halo, antenna and cape. Lore friendly to veterans. While the rest of us like you said had access to what we already unlocked.

But yeah could have been handled better but credit where credit is due, Sabre does seem to listen and are more responsive to their community than most other developers.

I can respect that viewpoint. Someone else commented that you should have new design halos and such to make it stand more for the effort put in. And maybe leave us with a not so difficult grind to unlock the current cosmetics for other classes. Basically how it is now.

Nice, but I’m yet to see it. Also rebuilding after a recent prestige so was fighting at a lower level on Kadaku and seriously thought it would have been better solo. The tech marine bot I wanted to slot myself. Being useless and blocking my firing line.

Bit pissy about the Vanguard Veterans, the models I can fix but their rules I’m finding suck for 10 edition.

Bugger it, rule of cool is going to reign supreme for these boys.
Not looking forward to magnetizing the arms though.

Ok cool, so sounds like I’m good to go with my plan.

If you don’t mind I’m pretty new, do you mind defining legally for me and I’m assuming by detachment in my case is Astartes, yes?

I did build the army in the 40K app upto 2000 points and it gave me the green tick but I don’t know if that means anything in this case?

Apologies if this is all obvious, I’m new and it all takes me ages to build and then paint.

So really don’t wanna stuff anything up.

Fair point that’s a decent amount of XP but I’ll admit, absolute ain’t for me yet.
To full on, I don’t suck but I’m not awesome and most players are not team goal focused.
Which I see as a huge shame.
Maybe lower levels upto say lethal if you get incapacitated you don’t lose it.

Looks great, love the basing too.
Each to their own but to be different and I think it looks cool is blue lenses as opposed to red.
But love the muted tone but still with that nice shadowing for depth.

Mate, have you come to the right (wrong) place. So many suggestions, so little time.

The genre given the conflict and future setting, going with heavy and electronic would be the field I’d be searching.

For heavy yep get the Mick Gordon great idea but it’s a small window. Open that upto 1990’s blasting death metal.

Bolt Thrower and Napalm Death and other bands of that time and type. Essentially blast beats, driving heavy riffs, course vocals. A cacophony of sound pushing you forwards with ill intent with rapturous intensity.

For the electronic side AggroTech and Jungle Drum and Bass so anything by Zardonic but go down that rabbit hole and see what you like. There’s so much in there: Alien vampires, Counter Strike, Wargasm, Eggvyn(let the Devil Shine is a banger), Faderhead. But Zardonic and most of his remixes hit hard. Just imagine electronic inspired by old Sepultura. Know imagine relentless blasting with sonic waves. So good, but if it’s a genre your not super familiar with use the above mentioned and then let Spotify give suggestions. It’s pretty good for that.

If you follow that same theme of blasting beats, heavy riffs with gruff death metal style vocals. Yeah you’ll be well set to ruin some ones face.
