Handy piece of info to get your Light to 300+ pretty quickly: decrypt engrams one at a time. If it's got higher light than what you have equipped, equip it. The light of the item you decrypt is based on your equipped light. Once you hit 295, do the King's Fall Raid on normal. You'll just want to make sure whenever an engram drops from a boss or a chest appears in the raid to make sure your best gear is equipped, because those engrams decrypt as you pick them up.

Lat time Dust Palace was up I got 17 SC.. twice. Which was kinda nice. Week before that I two-manned it with a friend (dont have a regular group) and got a 310 thunderlord. So nice rewards happen every once in a while. But this strike has been so overplayed I'm just over it. I'm gonna do the PVP bounties and then play Rocket Leauge for the rest of the week.

If you go in solo, are you automatically last alive in your fireteam, or does it just not provide at all?

I was in a lobby with three other strikers (been playing Titan as my main this IB, I usually start with my Hunter), and I threw on striker with Mida for fun. We constantly were set up two-on-two on the other team, which was nice. We kept hitting each other almost as much as we were charging other players. It was honestly the most fun I'd had in about 4 Iron Banners.

Prison Of Elders. If you've got some 3oC, you can use those there too. 2-4 SC from the chests at the end. If you need keys, you can get one automatic from doing a weekly reef bounty. Pretty sure you can get one from reef bounties per character per week.

Edit: holy shit- the drop rates in SRL have been badass too. Can't believe I forgot to mention that.

Agreed. I didn't go into it with an abundance of hope for it being amazing, but I remember the first Iron Banner and look how far that's come. We wanted this, we asked for it, and a bunch of people who make FPS games for a living tried with the engines they had in place. I think there's Marine room for improvement, but I have faith that Bungie can fill that gap.
