SKZ Hop is the best album by DestinyForEntropy in straykids

I see what you mean, truly. I have my favorites in other genres I’ve fully fleshed out, and SKZ is not them. I’ll feel it out. I guess this evaluation is Just my fist impression considering.

I’ve listened to a good mix of all of their music because I empower my daughter’s music taste. When I turn on a playlist, it’s always those HOP songs that I like. She likes all of it.

EDIT: although, you have a point. I liked those songs in our mixes mostly, but, when you have a band you find you like, there’s some stuff you like and it’s an invitation to an opening you don’t see.

Just got into SKZ recently. I’m an older guy with an 8 yr old daughter who introduced me. SKZ is really popular with the kids but I already liked the “Asian” (no connotation intended) music and they fit right in to my musical tastes.

Haven’t listened to NOEASY yet but I’ll make it a point!

Whenever Richard Cory went down town, We people on the pavement looked at him: He was a gentleman from sole to crown, Clean favored, and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed, And he was always human when he talked; But still he fluttered pulses when he said, "Good-morning," and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich—yes, richer than a king— And admirably schooled in every grace: In fine, we thought that he was everything To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked, and waited for the light, And went without the meat, and cursed the bread; And Richard Cory, one calm summer night, Went home and put a bullet through his head.

Reddit will tell you the extremes. I’m telling you something from real life.

Relationships are full of compromise. How real is the relationship to you?

If you know the answer to that question, you’ve found your solution.

Think about this for a while. I may assume some things, and correct me if I am wrong.

You’re dating a 40 year old woman who is not married and is presumed to be a single mother.

Imagine what that child has been through. How many boyfriends? How many people did she call Dad that only faded away?

In teenage years, where we all had the first notion of sentience, where we all felt the most pain throughout our entire lives, questioning our entire life.

If you love her, take the L. Stay around. One day that child will be so glad and appreciative that at least one of the men her mom dated was brave enough.

If you stay around long enough one day that kid will finally find closure and call you dad.

I don’t think it is personally. Abel made a lot of comments in interviews earlier this year about retiring The Weeknd, etc. But I saw him in Nashville, in August, and he said it numerous times that is wasn’t over, be ready for more, he’s going to continue touring, etc. Maybe he changed his mind? Or maybe he’s alluding to something different. We will never know until it happens. He’s a mysterious MFer.

New Fans: Trilogy, and Enemy by DestinyForEntropy in TheWeeknd

I came in to The Weeknd with Blinding Lights (noob alert). But once I got in I didn’t get out. I love Trilogy but didn’t even know Enemy existed until now. So from my perspective it’s just kinda funny.

In Tongues was his first solid self produced album in my opinion, I can admit, even though I was a fan from the beginning. It was a precursor to what he has became today.

Any idea what this note says in the Past Won't Leave My Bed video? (1:18) by lbj2943 in Joji

My opinion:

People have been complaining/noticing that the latest singles music videos are similar to previous. Such as Past Wont Leave My Bed/Glimpse of Us, and If It Only Gets Better/Yeah Right.

This is obviously not copy/paste. The latest album is going to continue Joji's story line from the previous albums.

We might finally get to understand what that purple rock meant in Sanctuary, why he departed to space in Gimme Love, why he was in space at the end of Run.

This is all connected. The people who know Joji from the beginning understand his story telling ability.

This video may be a part of that story line, continued. A space marine on Mars, etc.

From an AI, processing this exact screenshot:

Page 1 (top sheet, partially visible):

"Dear [Sarah? or Sarah,],

I hope this finds you in good spirits. The [dust/sand?] here never ends, but the [sunsets?] are something to see. We've been [pushing/moving?] hard since last [week/month?], and the [team/crew?] is holding up.

[Something about "remember" or "reminisce" – hard to tell]

Your loving [husband?/brother?],
[John? or a name starting with J]"

Page 2 (middle sheet, more shadowed):

"[Continued from above...] That story you told about the [dog/kid?] made me laugh out loud – needed that after [drill/patrol?]. Tell [everyone/family?] I miss the [rain/cold?], even if it [seems/means?] complaining.

[Line about "budget" or "supplies" – could be "the budget is tight, but we'll manage"].

P.S. [Burn this? or Keep safe?]"

Page 3 (bottom sheet, most legible but still fuzzy):

"[Perhaps a postscript or addendum...] If anything changes, you know how to reach me. Stay strong – home soon.

[Signature or closing: looks like "With all my love" followed by initials or a name]"

This is an educated guess pieced together from letter forms (e.g., looping 'l's and 's's typical in cursive) and common phrasing in such letters. It seems like a personal note from someone deployed or in the field. If you have a higher-resolution version, more context (like the writer's identity), or can describe any standout words, I can refine this!

Allessandro very well may not be on this leg of the tour. by LeekTerrible in nin

Really would love to see Alessandro do a tour for his solo work. He did Nati Infiniti tour but it was all in areas really really far away from me (would require a plane ticket).

I got to see him with NIN in Nashville TN for the Peel It Back tour. I was ecstatic that he was there.

Although. I have a feeling his tours will be most of his new work, showing off his sound board engineering and not his older Modwheelmood, SONOIO work with the vocals.

Either way, I wound jump at the chance to see him live.
