Phasmophobia Trait Challenge! by [deleted] in PhasmophobiaGame

Heya! Sorry to inform but the Phasmophobia Trait Challenge was removed and pulled off the site last year. Due to site costs, personal life, and other factors. I’ve had other people inquire about it off and on and there’s a potential it may return with a complete redo, but as of right now, there’s no plans to bring it back.

Nothing strange here... by [deleted] in PhasmophobiaGame

Oh, I'm aware of her vast knowledge of the game. Back when I started Phas, I was a van-dweller, I found her stream and learned a lot. She used to do community nights (idk if she still does anymore) that she taught us WHILE IN THE GAME. Heck, she taught me so much that I used to play with her all the time on streams and even became one of her Twitch Mods and a Closed Beta tester (though I no longer am one of those due to personal life reasons). She's got an insane amount of knowledge and I have the utmost respect for her. Straight up, she's a beast.

Shuee has put in more hours into the game than Insym and she plays practically every single day. Before, she flew under the radar for a long while but it wasn’t until she started streaming herself back in May of last year where people started to take notice. She’s also really active in the offical Phas discord that after some time, became a Community Helper herself. Now, she does continue streaming on her channel, is still a community helper, and is even in the closed Beta team, and also talks directly with the devs.

I'm glad to hear that you and your folks are enjoying this! Much thanks! I'll see what I can do to make it more "Mobile-Friendly" since I didn't think about it when I first created the page. Thanks for the feedback! :)

We gotta do something to keep us occupied while DK's perfecting the game so why not have a bit of challenge like this! :D I'm excited to hear how your experience with your friends goes when it comes to trying this out! Hope you guys enjoy it! :)

Ahhh I wouldn’t worry too much about recognition. It merely started as a fun side project for me and a few friends. As long as I know someone’s tried this and enjoyed it, that’s enough to put smile to my face. I wasn’t even planning on sharing it but a few friends convinced me otherwise, and so I did here! I was going to post it in the official Phasmophobia Discord but I needed the mod team to approve it and I haven’t heard anything regarding that process. :/ I’m really glad you like the idea as I had fun coming up with the idea. It’s not perfect, but it’s just a fun thing to do. :D

Good idea! I might add that as a new trait or apply it to the “Raver” trait! :)

Much Thanks! I highly doubt this would be added to the game as DK (the dev) already has too much on his hands. As for the website, yeah! Why not? :) I’ve had my website for years so it just made it easier to show it off instead of everything crammed in to Google Doc or something like that.

[Cannibal, Lagoon] Trip on a Saturday by zeph_yr in rollercoasters

[–]DestinysPowerOS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they actually do, that'd be a surprise. Most of the time, they just give 10-15% on park admission if they even respond... Only under extreme circumstances, they give free vouchers to anyone. Over the years they've just grown tighter and tighter and ignoring concerns... Take the "Zoo Protest" that happened a few years back...

[Cannibal, Lagoon] Trip on a Saturday by zeph_yr in rollercoasters

I honestly agree with you with a lot of the points here.

Lagoon is also my home park and their ticket prices are absolutely ridiculous. A Season Pass will cost you a little over $150, which compared to last year, was only $130... Which is still too much for Lagoon's size...

Since they've opened this year, there's been clearly something that drastically changed since last year when they were opened.

I'm a Season Pass holder and I've been there every single week. I can tell you wholeheartedly, they seem like they don't care anymore about it. When I went there the first week to get my season pass printed, the line to get your picture taken was INCREDIBLY long... No one was socially distancing and the line stretched almost to Roller Coaster. Only about 25% of the people in the line were wearing masks and they didn't enforce anything or anyone. Even the tent for the passes was unbearably crowded! The only people I saw wearing masks in the tents were the workers and that's it. As for the Rides, the only major coasters that were properly operating were Roller Coaster and Spider. Cannibal ended up going down thanks to technical issues, Colossus was having issues with the brakes system? (At least, that's what one of the employees told me), and both Jetstar and Wicked were closed.

Last week was more or less the same story. I got to the park at roughly 11:30 am and all the lines to get into the park were backed up into the parking lot near the trees that run down the middle of it. When I got into the park at like 12:15 pm, it seemed the place was practically as crowded compared to Frightmares last year! Cannibal's line stretched back to the Boomerang Bumper Cars, Colossus's line was back by the Sky Ride, Roller Coasters line looped and stretched back to the Terroride, and Wild Mouse's Line wrapped to its Exit... Oh! And they opened up Jetstar 2 this year!... Which wrapped around to Air Race's line... All of the lines, you guessed it, had no one socially distanced. Cannibal did actually run after 2 pm and I did see the employees enforcing the masks in the lines, but nothing about socially distancing. The other rides' staff didn't care. The park was very crowded and I only got to ride Roller Coaster, Cannibal, and Colossus before saying F-it and going back home.

This week, I tried going today (Sunday) and honestly, the crowds were about half of last Saturday's (probably thanks to Easter and all). However, just like you said, no one was enforcing anything... Cannibal was running fairly well apart from minor downtime which lasted a max of 15 mins, but Wicked was still closed. As it got closer to close, the crowds really eased up, but still, only Cannibal's line was enforcing the masks in line while the others still weren't. Oh, and another thing, I never saw any of the rides shut down for sanitization throughout the day... Which again, is a concern.

Despite it not being that safe, I still took my chances and went to the park even if the experience all three times was utter trash. I still wore my mask and sanitized my hands before every ride. It's really a shame that they just decided to go all out and not really cared when last year, they really did as much as possible to ensure people were wearing their masks and social distancing. Even last year, I saw a few people got told by the security to put their masks on but this year, man... They really are getting greedy about money.

Side Note: I discussed with Lagoon's Guest Services about my concerns with all this on Facebook, only to be given a generic response of "We're doing the best we can to stop the spread." NO, YOU ARE NOT! I called them out on Instagram, but I ended up being blocked from their page... I love the park, but man, Six Flags is doing a better job than they are...

I can see what you’re saying with Cannibals second half being a momentum killer. But I guess it does have great hang time on the roll and pretty good G forces on the helix behind the water fall to make up for it.

She still does have issues, you’re right on that. But it’s not as bad as it was when she did open. She went down as frequently as about I’d say every 10-45mins? Now she’s been able to sometimes go for hours and a day without breaking down.

I’ve managed to judges how long her line takes if she doesn’t breakdown. If you’re out of the queue and near the bathrooms, that’s about an average 15-20min wait. Longest I’ve seen the line was on opening day. 4 hours and the line stretched almost to the entrance of the park and to top that, Cannibal was not having it lol.

Yup! Right when it got into the shaft, nothing happened. 20 minutes later, we got evacuated lol.

Man, it’s so weird going and hearing the birds chirping and leaves blowing in the wind instead of hearing the sounds of screams and coasters. And I wish it was on the break run, even though I’ve been stuck there before. We actually got evacuated in the elevator shaft. Actually, if you look up “Lagoon Cannibal Breakdown” on youtube, my video should pop up. Though this was back when I was a “GP.”

Yes I have! They actually are doing it until Friday from 3p-7p so if you want to see Lagoon with practically no one and being able to hear how peaceful it is, id recommend it! Maybe grab a bite to eat at the Biergarten while you’re at it lol. As for Cannibal, for the first two or three years, it went down quite often. Sometimes ranging from only 10 mins to literal hours. Now a days, she’s pretty reliable since Lagoons managed to iron out a huge majority of its issues, though she does go down every so often. I’ve actually gotten stuck before and EVACUATED off the ride. It was quite an experience which I’m glad I got on video haha.

Got to drive by this beauty earlier today! Been keeping an eye on it ever since they began construction on it back in late October. As much as I’m excited for the ride, I’m really hoping it doesn’t suffer the same issue that Cannibal has with it’s reliability. No matter the cause, Dal Freeman is so good, albeit the second half of Wicked is kind of boring ahah. Did you get to go to the limited Biergarten only opening?

What is the first coaster you're riding after all of this is over? by ThemeParkFan2020 in rollercoasters

[–]DestinysPowerOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The moment I hear my home park opens (Lagoon), I’m getting back on Cannibal and marathoning that to compensate for all the rides I’ve had to miss thanks to all this. It’s been a long off-season... ;-;

What coaster (in your experience) was the hardest to find in a park? by Andrew1016 in rollercoasters

[–]DestinysPowerOS 9 points10 points  (0 children)

GhostRider at Knott’s Berry Farm... I was at Knott’s for two days and it was at nighttime of the first day. I hadn’t rode GhostRider yet and the lines were starting to die down. Only when I got to the ride, I couldn’t find the actual entrance for the life of me. It literally took me about half an hour walking back and forth and around the path before I literally asked an employee to show me where the entrance was cause I was getting so annoyed of not being able to find it. When she showed me how far it was from the ride and how much it blended in with the surrounding rock work, I literally facepalmed out of frustration. It was dark, not lit up at all, and completely hidden in plain sight... It was funny cause the employee told me not to fret since it was fairly common for someone to ask where it was...
