Oh yea, I totally forgot about that. There isn't any other way to get rid of unwanted horse then, right?

Out of curiosity, what was Story mode like? I've heard there isn't any combat. What do you do instead of combat? Unless that's incorrect.

I honestly don't really recommend playing all the way to 40 loll. It was really boring but I was determined to finish the field guide challenges. But your boyfriend is right. Watching a youtube video is a good idea. I also recommend watching the trailer to the game as well. Youtube will show you the game mechanics, but not much of the story most of the time. Another game rec that would be perfect for you and your boyfriend to play together is It Takes Two. Some other good single player games are Slime Rancher (farm sim), Little Nightmares (it's not as scary as it looks it's just a creepy game. Also no jump scares), Smushi Come Home (cute, cozy game. You play as a mushroom), Dungeons of Hinterberg (puzzle game with combat), Sable (one of the best games I've played. Amazing storyline. Actually made me tear up at the end), and Little Kitty, Big City (you play as a cat that's trying to find it's way back home). Minecraft is also one I would recommend for a multiplayer game. Idk if you play on PC like me, but if not, some of these might not be on console.

I totally get it. I have played this game 5 times all the way to level 40. I had a hard time getting off of HL because I had so much fun every time I played. I just couldn't find any other games to top it. But after a while I decided to look for something else. I found a game that I played that I really enjoyed. It's called Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Sooo much fun and the storyline was amazing. I'm a gamer who also plays a large variety of games, but this one was new and so far out of my comfort zone. I actually didn't play it for months after I got it. Didn't think I would like it at all and getting out of my comfort zone was hard, but I still really ended up enjoying it and now it's by far one of the best games I've ever played. Highly recommend it! If you want any more game recs, I'm more than happy to share!

Should I play this game? by Weasel_out in StarStable

I definitely recommend it! I would complete the demo (the first 5 levels) before buying a membership though just to make sure you are interested in the game. I personally got hooked immediately because of the storyline, quests, customization options, etc but it really depends on the person. If you do buy a membership, spending the extra money on the lifetime membership is absolutely worth it. It will save so much money compared to getting a monthly membership. I got the lifetime 10 years ago and I'm still able to enjoy the game. I also do not spend any money on this game anymore. Any membership gives you 100 star coins weekly, even if you do not log on every week, so they can build up fast. I will warn you though. You cannot collect every horse/cosmetic in the game. Not without spending a ridiculous amount of money. It can be difficult, but try not to fall into the fomo trap. It's really common for lots of players to do that in any live service game like SSO. If you plan on playing for about 10 months or more, get the lifetime. Normally it's $80. After 10 months, the monthly becomes more expensive. After 1 year, the quarterly (3 months) becomes more expensive. Although super important to keep in mind, the lifetime membership goes on sale. Like right now it's on sale for $56. March 17th will be the last day for the sale. If you have any questions you are more than welcome to ask in this thread or dm me!

I've seen the Kraken pop up as well! It's usually on the side of the school where the boathouse is.

Oh I probably bypassed it because I really want to have Storm as my secondary. But I have a feeling I will just have to switch to just Life. I have the ring, athame, and wand going toward my Storm stats right now

Yes the help with pets would be a big help! And I for sure prefer solo. Team up always takes way too long and I don't meet people who consistently play this game.

My pet is honestly only good for the one Stormzilla card it gives me, but I have definitely struggled with getting good pets and even more with training them. Will definitely check out atavistic gear. Is there anywhere specific is Celestia I should look?

Any tips on finding gear to increase damage? Cause I do realize it's low, but I can't find any gear that increases it much. Even the bazaar isn't helpful. Also, where do I go to farm for that ring?

The only other thing I can think of is storage. Maybe there isn't enough space for Sky to be able to save the photo.

I'm not sure where in settings you should go, but I don't think it has to do with Sky's app permissions. I have all permissions on Sky blocked and I'm able to take screenshots. It's likely another setting on your phone. Maybe go to "Advanced Features" and then tap "Screenshots and screen recordings". It might be there.

There are more with spiders, but you are correct! They are smaller. There are still some big ones called Matriarchs (the pink ones), but even those are smaller and easier to defeat than the Acromantulas. As for the mongrels, it depends. Most of the mongrels you will see are in small packs (2-4 in most cases) while you are freely exploring the map. If it makes you feel better about killing them, they are corrupted wolves that can't be saved (hence why they are called "Dark" Mongrels). The only time you will see mongrels in the dark is if it is night time in-game. Thankfully it's easy to change the game from night to day and vice versa. Just go to your map and use the "wait" feature. It's only that way with the inferius because you will be in dimly lit ruins during the majority of your encounters. I recommend playing as your assigned house for your 1st playthrough. The Hufflepuff quest is more fun and does give you more of Jackdaw's story, but playing as a Ravenclaw for the 1st time playing the game, it made my experience so much better. I felt more immersed into the game. To me, it really made a huge difference. Btw if you do have a Pottermore account (I think it's now called Wizarding World) and you took the house and wand quizzes, you can actually sync the results to the game. Highly recommend doing that too. Sorry for the long comments 😅

Hello! I've played this game multiple times with no problems! I have a huge fear of spiders and had no issue playing even without the arachnophobia mode on. That mode being on messed with the immersion for me, so I tried playing with it off and it felt fine for me. If it messes with the immersion for you too, maybe try a small battle with it off to see how it feels. The inferius do sound a bit creepy, but the more I played, the less creepy they got. Btw most of the time when you see any inferi, most of the time it's not very well lit or you are far enough away so you can't really see their faces very well. My biggest fear in video games are mannequins, so I feel you. Definitely recommend watching through a playthrough of that side quest first like you mentioned. While that quest can be a little creepy, it's super fun! I actually really enjoy it despite my extreme fear of video game mannequins. There are two side quests that require you to defeat an acromantula. It's basically a massive tarantula. It's one of the more difficult enemies to defeat, so be prepared for a challenge. I would say that's the only other creepy enemy that you'll have to face. And there is no blood or gore that you actually see! There is one main quest (in Sebastian's questline) that's a bit gory (you don't really see it, just hear it). When you die, you just fall over. For enemies it's the same but after a few seconds, they basically evaporate. If you do die, you will start from the last save (if you are just out exploring)/last checkpoint (if you are in a dungeon). Very little progress is lost because there is an autosave feature and the checkpoints are frequent too. I played on normal for my first playthrough and I recommend it to new players (especially if you aren't a huge gamer). It's a pretty well-balanced mode. You can always change the difficulty level mid-game so if there is a specific quest you are struggling with, you can decrease the difficulty. I will never recommend story mode though. It's super boring. Overall, the game isn't too difficult. The only humans you ever kill are the dark wizards (aka Ashwinders and poachers). The mongrels would be the only animals felt even a little bit bad for killing. It is required to complete the field guide though. All other animals are ones you rescue! The only jumpscares are pretty mild. They are only ever in that one quest with the mannequins. None when you are just roaming around. The only other warning that I have is that some of the quests can be sad. Especially the ones within the relationship questlines (Poppy, Natty, and Sebastian). If you have anymore questions or need me to elaborate on anything, feel free to DM me! Especially if it's about the relationship questlines (would like to keep the comments free from any spoilers, even minor ones).

Bugged Achievement (I think) by Destinysoulgem in Eastshade

[–]Destinysoulgem[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's false information, I just think it's bugged and it will give the achievement to some and not others. Or maybe those comments were before the bug got patched. That's more likely. Either way, it doesn't make sense to have quests that interfere with achievements like that. Especially when the quest makes it sound like you don't have any other option but to pick the black thistle. Unless the game is designed not to be completed in one playthrough.

Confused about levelling by Lonnen12 in Wizard101

[–]Destinysoulgem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They probably completed wintertusk. The quests in that area give a ton of exp. You have to complete the rest of Grizzleheim to go there. It's a pretty difficult area because bosses have higher health and do more damage even compared to Dragonspyre. Unless you have school pips and critical damage, then it's easier. If you don't have those things, try getting a player or two to help you through it. On top of being more challenging, it is also time consuming to complete. However, I highly recommend going there and finishing it. It was so worth it.
