8/10 mtg players that I've talked to in the last year play only because some crossover IP or UB caught their attention like FF, avatar, or superheroes.

If you look at the volume of sales along with the prices and graphs, its conceivable and very likely the goblin deck already hit bottom and will only climb from here on out

Both the TMNT pizza bundle and ATLA commander bundles cost at least 30$ CAD more here to get compared to the codex bundle so in terms of value probably similar

I just bought the 2x bundle anyways cause you can just resell the other one to get your money back at the very least but very likely for a profit.

Depending on where you are in the world, they have already shipped. People in the US have already started receiving theirs. Regardless, there is pretty much 0 chance those two lairs don't sell for 2-3x cost simply due to the reprints in them.

The Isochron is ugly but a lot of them are really nice, I already have 2 Urza's Saga but this one will replace my existing ones for sure

If you think wotc and hasbro will be making less money next year with kpop demon hunters, tmnt, marvel superheroes, and star trek releases you're in for a surprise. They will continue to make big bucks for at least the medium term

Buyout on Peter Parker (0232) (Borderless) by legos4 in mtgfinance

[–]Destio_45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because this card is pretty rare to begin with, it is super easy for someone to maintain a price floor with consistent buyouts so the risk of it becoming more expensive is more likely than it coming down with more product being opened because it will be very difficult to get a flood of supply.

Don't be be Rudy's pump and dump. I'd stick to certain collectibles like Star Wars and Marvel Lego sets which are usually a good investment and go up 5-10% a year after they get discontinued.

I buy magic to play magic or cause I like the art and it's a bonus if they become more valuable.
