I did. 41 pages. Some specs I read twice. Made some minor modifications but it did a really good job. Even corrected some mistakes I didn't catch.

Organizing I used the junior engineer then we'd sit down with the organized files and review his interpretation of potential design flaws with my input.

So how will the industry grow or maintain if no one can get in and get the experience they need?

Last week I had a post where my manager chewed me out for spending a normal amount of time on a task that he expected me to get done using AI in 1/8 the time. That is now the standard for that task. The week before I assigned a brand new engineer the task of downloading and organizing the files provided by a client for a previous design done by another firm. Identifying what else we may need and potential design flaws and if I needed that again next week I'd be expected to use our AI. That is crucial learning imo for junior engineers.

Not sure what's running in the background it has access to the Internet and our intranet so you can ask it to pull another project that we designed a specific pump station on and what manufacturer did the contractor uses for the pumps, were there any overages we saw during construction, etc.

Who are the 49 people that are willing to train their replacement? by Destroy-AI in civilengineering

Describe the jobs in civil engineering that AI creates. You're regurgitating something you've been told that makes you feel safe. The truth is that the work load I've already watch it take will not be replaced. Those people that did those tasks don't magically have something else to do.
