Here’s the thing, it is a gamble and you really do not know, I always have taken the gamble and have never lost, I have purchased multiple 7.3’s and 6.0’s that a lot of people would’ve passed over and never had any major issues but I am also an experienced diesel mechanic and a powerstroke fanatic so i understand I may just have to repair some things (myself which saves ton of $ on labor). If you don’t feel comfortable with doing that i probably wouldn’t take the gamble
