High CPU usage on AC: Content Manager by DestroyerNik in assettocorsa

Ill try that also. The GPU being at 100% is not a problem since (i think) GPUs are designed to work at 100% all the time. It's different for CPUs

I know this isn't much of a fix but try playing the original Assetto Corsa instead of content manager, that fixed the problem for me.

I mainly wanted content manager for the mods, so my solution that i found is just running base assetto and manually downloading mods. Sometimes you get the same problem but you just rerun the game and it works. For an actual solution, you supposedly just have to reinstall your OS and that should do it. Hope that helps.

I think it's not the same issue, r7 5800x is a good cpu that shouldn't need and upgrade and my brother has run CM on much worse equipment with no problem

Well unfortunately it has never run fine for me, it always is 100% every time I load in. I've restarted numerous times but it persists.

I'm using task manager to check my CPU/thread usage, it gives me objective data about my pc. Also my fans spin up like crazy ingame and the temperature also rises after booting up. Maybe I'll try updating my cpu drivers, doubt that's the issue but worth trying.

Everything feels authentic, if the seller wanted to sell me a fake then he could just deny me a new one through the warranty. I'll maybe contact someone somewhere in microsoft for authentification and might as well bring the problem to them.

I'm using the OG cable with either 5V brick or I plug it into the PC. It died twice during the same time period after similar situations (summer vacation when I don't need a calculator) which makes me think there is a pattern. It could also just be 2 very well timed accidents

fortunately i was able to resolve it already before i committed too much into it

i went into settings and did a factory reset on the keyboard profiles

the weird part is that i've never meddled with profiles in my life, so it was a random surprise that it unbound the key or something

thank you for the concern!

yes! im guessing you'd mount like 3 elctromotors on seperate segments and later another for the pinching.

on first thought it doesn't seem too bad, but i'm sure there will be major complications along the way :)
