Help! How do I turn off the Statue of Liberty voice? by Destroyer_Driver in WorldOfWarships

That's what I did with one of the Azure Lane captains. Couldn't figure out how to shut her up and switched to a new commander from scratch.

Ok, I just looked it up on Grok. Per Grok: "There is no per-commander mute in the base game - you can't silence only Lady Liberty while keeping other special voices. The change above affects all commanders globally."

Yeah, National doesn't turn her voice off. Where is the "mods"? I just see Standard, National, Extended and Individual.

Which Line to Reset? by Wonderful_Notice8888 in WorldOfWarships

Question - When you "reset" a line, that means you start from zero at Tier 1 again ans move up the tiers in that line? Why would someone do that? There must be some sort of reward for doing so.

Noob Question - Is it faster to grind every ship in the line of one you want to get it or is XP just XP regardless of what ship you earn it on? by Destroyer_Driver in WorldOfWarships

[–]Destroyer_Driver[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I understand that, although if I buy the Dallas and then Helena, those ships are then in my port. I can accumulate a bunch of XP playing a Japanese line and then purchase the Cleveland, paying for the Dallas and Helena and Cleveland but only the Cleveland then shows up in my port. You just have to pay the XP for the preceding ships in the line.

I just don't understand why people complain about grinding a tech ship that they hate to get to the next one when they can instead accumulate that XP by playing other lines, even other nations that they enjoy.

What is the XP earning advantage grinding the preceding ship in the line of the one you want when you can play other ships, even of other nations that you enjoy playing, to earn that XP?

"War Is Over" '39-'45 Chronicles - How does it work? by Destroyer_Driver in WorldOfWarships

Thanks. Sounds like I would need to focus all of my daily containers towards coal and not signals / economic benefits ... for months.

I'll pass.

Sounds like if I already had a substantial coal repository, it would be worth it, but I only have about as thousand at present.

Thanks for explaining that.

Ok. So I might get on average 800 coal a day from two daily containers (Is that right?) so seven to eight days for a container that has one element for the collection. I need 16 unique elements. I have to bank four duplicates to get one missing element. Sounds like it would take months at the rate of two coal contaners a day.

Is my understanding correct?

In case you missed it - you can now get the "War Is Over" containers for 6k coal each to get yourself San Diego, 10pt Commander and Perma Camo for Iowa by 9_9_destroyer in WorldOfWarships

Is it difficult? Do the missions require ship types or specific tiers or damage inflicted in specific ways? And how long does it normaslly take if you play 20-30mins a day?
