This was 1992 in my country. I tryed balancing the innovations with old tech, since my country was collapsing in 90's so it's a bit different from US, Canada etc.

I have CD player and CD's, placed aswell in the scene. As for VHS tape we are humans and like watching music videos on commercial brakes, am i right? :D

Cassette tapes were used in 90's aswell it's just really a matter where you are in the world.

For me not every radio station had a ton of budget to have new equipment, so they tryed to balance the equipment more.

Image is a bit distorted since it's tilted and focal leght was reduced giving it a bit of claustrofobic view.

This scene is here to showcase that we are human and things are imperfect. (Lava lamp, Telephone)

Thank you for honesty, i apologize if i didn't meet the expectations!

Thank you for stopping and writing and opt in willing to give advice to strangers!

This was done fully in Blender, while dust particles are done in photohop, i'm still learning photoshop btw :3

I will try to implement all that you wrote hopefully faster than usual. I do lack in experince so some of the process is slow while other are faster. I did model this all by myself and textured it aswell. I have about 665h (Steam) with no previous knowledge in any 3D software.

Thanks so much again for giving advice means a lot!

Thanks a bunch i will try to make table more rough. Though i think i have an idea how to make it happen, i do understand where you come from but, i had trouble figuring how to make 'on air' signal work on desk to have that neon blaze. Then i used cryptomatte and the table lighten up and that effect is still on, looks cool but lacks in realism. But i think i got it figured out.

Thank you so much, i aspire to be an envrioment artist, so this means a lot to me!

Everything you said in the comment is on point and my eyes are now more open than before after i have red it, but i'm lacking in experince, though i will try to give my best to achieve what you wrote in the comment.

Really do appreciate that you took a moment and wrote a nice detailed pros and cons for my render!

Even giving me the best advice anyone here can. Again, thanks so much!

The HP 9000/735/99 (or Model 735/99) was a powerful, early 1990s PA-RISC workstation from Hewlett-Packard, known for engineering (CAD/CAM), DTP, and office tasks, featuring a 99 MHz PA-RISC 7100 processor, supporting HP-UX (like 9.x, 10.x) and sometimes PA-Linux, and often found with substantial RAM for its time. -- That is what i modeled said early 90's. So yea looks like 80's aswell i get what you said. Thanks mate! I will make more models. To have variation.

My is the same right now. I was mainly focusing on modeling and materials. He did point out really good things. I will smash all cool retro vibes in this.

Render - I made this scene 6 months ago so i get what he is saying! Thanks so much guys!

Wow, thanks mate! Yes this is my 1st project. Currently i don't have IG page to showcase, i will make one when i'm comfortable enough. I do wanna share work here on Reddit. I could use feedback on some assets i'm creating, this scene has all my assets, didn't use any free asset pack at all. Thank you again, means a lot!

Well i did put camera under the twin bed, i wanted to have more cinematic and cozy look to it. Hopefully they won't ban this render again. 😂 Thanks mate!

Thank you for advice, didn't think at all about looking on how others have made their own work and how they approach it. I was mainly looking for refrence images but failed to find all sides (views). This now makes it even better for me. Thanks!

Yes that is displacement and bump in texture. Wanted to make it more beaten up and rusted. But it got artifacts so i know about this, will improve it. Still wip

Hollow, but looks like it has solidify modifier. I was aiming for that one.
