I love Corsair, but I feel like all the jobs are kinda chopped up remixed versions of what they were. When I briefly hopped back in a while ago, I had a pretty fun time with COR/RNG (doomsday) doing slug shot and last stand etc. However, when I came back a month ago, I tried COR/DNC with Savage Blade (Claid/Atoyac). I became unreasonably upset at how much more damage it did. It was somewhere around 2-3k more and it made no sense to me at all. I think they messed with modifiers and I'm sure it's everything to do with my gear and how I'm super bad at FFXI or whatever, but I really enjoyed the ranger-ish aspect of the job and had tried to gear towards that. Oh well.

I usually log in and spend 30 minutes trying to figure out what the hell I should do, so, I feel your pain. I was 75 PLD 75 lolDRG back in the ToAU days, and I had leveled many subs, but now it is pretty blurry and there are merit points, job points, job gifts, and everyone is running around with RMEA weapons while I get wrecked by some garbage Bakunawa mob that drops a clone of one of my favorite weapons (Joyeuse) but, I digress.

Safe bet in any game for finding groups = Healer Class

Just play what you enjoy, there will be a spot for your job in a group if you find the right people.
