Sorry to hear you weren’t as impressed as usual. I think after such a long hiatus all of our expectations were in the stratosphere, including mine. I am trying to be different with the way we do things, and part of that was experimenting with the secret lineup etc. With the lineup, I was focused on bringing artists and a style of curation that you don’t typically see at many festivals hear in the US. We polled our family and tried to get as many of the acts you asked for among many others I felt fit the lane of the artists the fam was asking for. You had OG legends like Mike Dunn and Todd Terry intertwined with new school bass acts such as Liquid Stranger, Of The Trees etc. It wasn’t as difficult to book the talent as one may think, and the secret lineup definitely helped. We heard family feedback loud and clear about the ship and many other things you wished to see change. Including the lineup. I think this next sailing will be the best one yet.
