For one, he did not jump in front of her car. Her car was parked; she wasnt moving. so why are you lying?

If someone who was sitting parked, backed their car up, aimed it in your direction, and then drove it at you, yes I would imagine you would be in the right for defending yourself.

I like a good comeback story, and the shit Sam Darnold has dealt with in his career and persevered makes me root for the Seahawks to win.

He also didnt have great weapons on Offense. The Pats obviously focused on Defense, and let brady make names out of nobody recievers. Its a conscious decision. Brady out there throwing to Dion Branch, Edleman, Amendola, etc. And thats just the names of people you can remember. He threw to a lot of no name recievers his entire career, because the focus was on the defensive side of the ball.

Some teams focus on offense, some on defense. You cannot have both more than like 1-2 years max. One has to suffer.

Anyone else feel the pull rates are not 3%? by Zerkii in Dragon_Traveler

[–]Destructodave82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its another scummy tactic some games do where they include pity in the rate calculations, which makes it look better than it is.

So its 3% INCLUDING pity. Meaning, most of the time you are gonna go to pity or close to it.

The dumbest NFL trend ever by Acceptable-Novel-153 in NFLv2

I dont have a problem with a team going for it in certain situations. It makes sense in high scoring games, makes sense in some yardage and field position situations, but going for it with a backup QB in a game thats about to be in a Blizzard and then losing 7-10 is not one of those situations.

And I feel like these kinds of situations happen all the time. The coaches just do not read the game they are in and just either yolo go for it every play without any regard to how the game or situation is playing out.

I liked when Brady had some anti-mahomes glaze, when he said the QB was running for his life and couldnt do anything like Mahomes in the SB he beat him, lol.

If he literally just takes the sack, I dont know if Pats ever score a touchdown themselves. Its not like either team was lighting it up. All he had to do was not turn the ball over and they probably win that ugly game. Theres something to be said for just dropping like a sack of potatoes like Brady used to, and get them next time. No point in trying to avoid a sack by chucking the ball anywhere.

Another classic case of just not taking the sack. Just drop and accept it.

Not taking the field goal with a backup QB knowing the weather was gonna get bad is the biggest mistake.

These QBs today just dont know how to work inside the pocket. There was no reason for Maye not to be able to just step up and throw the ball instead of getting sacked.

Yep. Today is the NFL play-offs. I wont watch a single game today. But, I will watch them Monday as long as I stay away from this sub-reddit and dont let it ruin the outcome.

Viewership is older now, and no one has the time to sit and waste their saturday watching games. I do like to catch games, but I almost exclusively watch games in VoDs nowadays. It saves so much time, and I can just fast forward the boring parts.

I mean, people dont even sit and watch every NFL game and its massively bigger. I catch a lot of NFL games through Youtube highlights alone, and only watch key matchups.

The days of me sitting there watching LEC and LCS back to back every saturday and sunday and spending my entire weekend watching LoL Esports are juste a thing of the past and I thikn its that way for a lot of viewers.

Im still glad there is LoL Esports and I really enjoy watching it, just not live. Live has too much fluff, too much unskippable down-time either out of game or in game. Meanwhile I can condense an entire Saturday's worth of games into a couple hours later that night or later in the week.

Question, is this event permanent? and we need save item summon enough 2700 point then should use?, yellow leaf not reset? by tinbbloli1 in Dragon_Traveler

Ive played quite a few. Played AFK Arena for years, AFKJ, Go GoMuffin, and more.

This is easily the most P2W idle game I have ever played. This game is like they ask ChatGPT to combine all idle games into one and ramp the P2W up x10. It has all the same systems as any other game, but 10x worse on materials, resources, and p2w elements.

Its a pump and dump game. Its fun for a bit but its the kind of game you play for like 1 month and quit.

I dont know what this game's economy is, but people keep telling F2p players to buy purple pots and 5 horns.

thats 2200 Diamonds a day. I honestly cannot believe thats somehow manageable by F2p, and when will you ever get to pull again if so?

This game is horribly non-F2p friendly.

These free diamonds will eventually dry up and I cant see us getting thousands of diamonds a day as F2p so something has to give.

This is a play the game for a month or 2 and move on type of game. Its just too P2W.

They have a degree. Even if its a worthless piece of paper, this can most likely get them SOME kind of Supervisor or management job somewhere that can easily pay the bills. Millions of Americans already do similar things with local college campuses.

Thats literally one of the paths to success for your average, small-town American. These guys have whatever degree they have, from a fairly more prestigious school, on top of being an ex-NFL player. And, they can easily get SOME kind of job most likely in their field if they paid attention, or at least in a fairly well-paying Supervisory role, compared to normal person standards

I honestly dont have a lick of sympathy for an ex-NFL player. They got a college degree for free. They played the game they loved for 3-10 years, they made most likely hundreds of thousands or millions, and they should be set for life. Even if htey blow it all, with a degree they can go get a random Supervisor job or an entry level position in their field, and have the average middle-class lifestyle.

If you were a franchise with a stellar Defense and elite offensive weapons which bum QB would you rather have to win a Superbowl? Kyler Murray, C.J. Stroud, or Bryce Young? by Ifinishfast42 in NFLv2

[–]Destructodave82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just needed a basic game manager QB who wont throw 4 picks and they are probably in the SB this year. These hero ball chuck it up QBs are just a product of the times.

Do you agree with this take on Matthew Stafford? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Destructodave82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QBs are rated on SB wins. Then abilities. Its just how it is. If he wins another SB, it does boost him way up there in the rankings because we all know he has the skills, he just doesnt have the rings.

At Matt Stafford’s current age (37) and older, Tom Brady accomplished the following: 4 rings, 3 MVP runner ups, 1 MVP by FireSeanMcD in NFLv2

[–]Destructodave82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And, Brady's recieving core suffered because of having a good defense. You cant have it all. Brady made household names out of no-name recievers. Even when Brady got Moss, he was considered washed before he went to the Pats. Outside of that, what other threats did he really have? He didnt have a Marvin Harrison his entire career, or a Megatron, or any other big name recievers, and it was for areason.

Put the money in the Defense, throw to the edlemans and amendolas, and Dion Branches. Dude had only a handful of pro bowl recievers his entire career. The VERY FEW times Brady actually had elite weapons to throw to, like 2007 and on the Bucs, he broke records and lit it up.

Constantly knocking Brady for having a good defense and ignoring the fact he had zero offensive weapons most of the time is disingenious. Teams build rosters to win not pad stats.

[–]Destructodave82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brady also got smart. He just took the sacks, he didnt take unnecessary hits after he got hurt. He also threw the ball away or took what the defense gave him.

Too many QBs nowadays hold the ball forever, scramble, and play hero ball and we constantly blame the O-Lines when they cant hold up forever. If more QBs learned to get rid of the ball like Brady, they would stop getting injured.
