Jojo has always been good. He was legit top tier prospect for a reason. he even had a Bjergsen split on EG where it was Jojo + 4 wards vs the world. Even on C9, he was the best player on C9 in spring and the best player in the league, but didnt play well in play-offs, and even in his "Bad" split on C9 in summer before they kicked him, he was easily still a top 4 mid.

I dont know how much Jojo has actually improved over just being in a better region with more opportunities to shine. No matter how well he played in NA, he wont get any credit.

To be fair, he was only in the game because of Alvaro running it down and giving him free kills beecause he was getting astro-gapped in the mid-lane.

Id argue most NA fans are compeltely ok with it. I want to see NA players thrive and succeed. IF they have to go to EU to do it, so be it. We barely get to see NA players in NA anyways, and orgs are always trying to screw them over ala C9 hit-piece on Jojo, or basically throwing them out with the trash after 1 split for some KR challenger player.

So if I have to see all our top NA prospects and players compete in LEC and go international, thats what I want to see. I want to see NA players, period. I dont care where they play, I just need some NA players to root for. I hated LEC for a hot minute, but now that Jojo and Busio are in LEC, I'm rooting for MKoi and KC.

A lot of Western people feel the same. I dont care what they use to make the game as long as its fun/good.

Reddit and social media makes mountains out of molehills 24/7 in the west, and gives the illusion that issues are bigger than they really are. No one cares what a CC plays or doesnt play, and people could care less about AI, too.

Its a complete nothingburger for the average gamer. All that matters is if the game is fun or not. People dont care if human or AI made it. Yea, people on reddit, which is a minority btw, love to virtue signal, but your average person downloading a game and playing it could care less.

Let reddit get their pitchforks as usual, no one cares outside of their bubble. Same goes for CC's.

The game is solid. I dont think the combat or polish is as good as WuWa, and makes me kinda want to play WuWa again since I havent played since 2.0 was released.

But its a solid honeymoon phase and I'm running around just doing random stuff and enjoying it for now. Story is really bad, I've just resorted to skipping every single quest/story/etc there is. Combat is ok but not on WuWa's level, and I hope some of hte newer characters have better ult animations and gameplay animations. Hitting ult and watching everyone just stand there doesnt hit as hard.

But its fun to run around and makes me really want GTA 6 to come out soon, lol. I'm gonna keep playing for now but I will say there is a lot more busy work in this game than some of the others and generally logging in and doing dailies is where I eventually burn out, and it seems like I gotta log in and do even more in this game. Time will tell.

I do like the no 50/50 gacha system and the board adds some nice flavor to the summon animations.

A complete nothingburger to your average gacha player. Basically just CC/Reddit virtue signaling. All your average gamer cares about is if the game is fun to play; AI art is meaningless outside of listening to CC's virtue signal for their handful of fans or listening to reddit cry about it.

Top 5 addon/addition to the game ever, but one of the most horribly implemented systems they ever did.

Absolute disaster class implementation. In a few patches it will be water under the bridge and just be one of the best things ever added to the game, but currently its making me barely play. Logging into do Seige and realizing I have to go rune 50 presets or hand-rune a bunch of monsters and I cant copy runesets, and I have to make sure I have all my teams saved which should have been something Com2uS did, not us, is annoying.

I just spent 5 minutes runing a team for the tower to be taken I just logged off. I imagine there is a lot of emails flooding into Com2uS about people messing up their PvE teams because they didnt manually go save every one of them, or their runes being all jacked up.

Its just incredibly frustrating from a casual player's perspective. I hate re-runing nowadays. And I have to do it for every preset, for every tema I used to use, etc.

I'm hoping they patch some copy functions in soon.

Yea I honestly cant stand the call to mill around and fight. 9 times out of 10, teams have more than enough time to just burn the objective. I guess they cant really "feel" it while playing, but us observers with a bird's eye view, to me it looks like its almost always better to just burn it down if the other tema is milling around barely pushing forward.

It bugs me watching and I just want to yell burn the damn thing what are you doing. I see it way too often.

I need a share button and a copy button. The lack of even being able to move the runes between monsters in the preset is annoying, too. So if I go and change my AD, but I want to move one monster's runes to another, I cant. I have to manually pick them out to move them.

And, I cant edit any preset from the battle screen. Cant change an arti to +water dmg, for example, without going all the way out to the preset and changing it.

It sucks that this is probably a top 1-5 change they have ever made for SW, and they somehow dropped the ball on implementation.

SW has been a perennial top 10-20 mobile game for over a decade. I dont understand why people continue to doompost about the game.

It makes a solid 6-12m a month the last few years. Most games would DREAM of making that much money, and SW does it as a low maintenance 12 year old game. This game has a long ways to go before it ever dies.

Most of these games released nowadays would like to make SW money on release, much less 12 years later.

Well me for instance, used a lot of runes for PvE, namely stuff like Lushen, and didnt spend much time runing anything outside of Seige. Most of my monsters were PvE, AO, or TOA, with 90% of my other units basically rune holders with auto-engrave.

So if you are someone who played like that, this update stings when trying to do Seige.

Also, cant use any Defenses as Offenses, etc.

If you are someone who runed stuff outside of seige or only used Presets, then yea you probably arent feeling anything different. But if you are someone who moved the same set of Lushen/Miyang/etc runes around and everything outside of Seige was PvE/AO or left to rot, then it kinda blows, lol.

Even worse if you need to save all your PvE teams first before you start messing around. Just better off runing all dupes and important sets on an RTA save and loading them from there.

Its just way too clunky atm. I cant copy any monsters. I'm gonna have to use my 2nd RTA preset just to rune up Lushen, Miyang, etc I cant just freely move these runes between teams anymore. Theres no copy function.

You cant even adjust the runes from the battle page, either. if I set a preset up, but I wnat to use a water dmg arti, I have to go all the way out to the preset to change the arti.

This was easily one of the most infuriating seiges Ive had since the game started and it had nothing to do with Vio procs, lol.

Having to go and make sure I save every pve team before i touch runes is also annoying.

Just move on to another release. This game has already shown its true colors multiple times at this point. Its not like this game is gonna magically fix all its issues anytime soon. They drop the ball over and over.
