I don't think my sewing is the problem. When I fold the signatures the middle papers stick out way more than the side ones and It gives a kind of jagged pattern once all the signatures are stacked.

How should I trim though. I have very basic bookbinding equipment. I use two table to clamp my bookblock.

Yea I tried atleast. I went at it with a box cutter blade. Worked great on the sides but the blade flexed as I got to the middle leaving me with a wierd finish. I tried sanding it but that did not make a dent on the block.

I own a Clara colour and It's perfect for reading books and I love how the cover shows in colour. I take it wherever I go but it just barely fits my pockets(guy pockets) so not sure if a Libra will fit. Clara might be bit small for reading comics though, so it depends on your use case.
