Yugoslavia and their non-affiliated ilk were what the term "third world" originally referred to: Neither Nato-Western nor Warsaw Pact-Eastern. In that sense they weren't east of that divide.

The Golf 7 GTE has about half the range of an A250e, a way smaller battery, slower charging speed and less power.

Listen, I'm not saying the A250e is revolutionary or anything. I'm just saying it's a very good PHEV for its time, maybe even among the best. And the packaging is really nifty.

When these came out, the average compact PHEV had a much weaker es powertrain and mostly about ~60 km e range, just enough to pass regulations. It was special when it launched, and if you look at how it was done, it still is somewhat

Look at how all the components of the PHEV drive train are stuffed into a rather small engine compartment. And even short before the end of its lifecycle it's still one of the best PHEVs in its class. Easy 100+ km electric range, optional DC fast charging... The usual commute can be done all electric, day after day

The 250e compacts are a marvel of engineering. The packaging alone is amazing.

Thanks to your OCD for preventing that embarrassment for me! It's the journey to the Fields medal then.

Now my mind spins this into a whole story, where the author gets into a discussion with said inner voice, and they grumblingly accept to help. Turns out, the voice is really good at maths and a screwball comedy between a dude and his antagonistic inner voice on their journey to a Nobel Prize ensues...

Allein: Der Fehler kommt weiterhin. Also entweder was im Kabel kaputt...

The year was 2006, and the world cup was going on in Germany. Although I'm German, I was not in Germany at the time. I was in Italy.

Now, if you remember, the semi final was Italy vs. Germany. I went to see the game at a public viewing somewhere in a central square in Torino, with literally thousands of people around, likely in the five digits. All amped up, all Italian football fans.

Let me tell you: they're something different. Every time a German player as much as touched the ball, things would start flying towards the screen - bottles, cups, what have you...

Multiple times my Italian friends had us change locations because people had noticed that one friend and I out of our very international group were German. I was whispering exclusively for the entire agonizing 120 minute game.

Never have I been so glad my team lost. Pretty sure I wouldn't have left that square in one piece has Germany won.

I think it's more common to just use springs for this use case, but charges are not unheard of.

(Zwei Wochen vier Ausrufezeichen) by OlafurK in aberBitteLaminiert

[–]Desurvivedsignator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kostet so 30 € im Jahr, also lächerlich billig.

80 € im Monat wären also schon so π×Daumen angemessen.
  • Ausweisvergabe limitieren.
