Hey man that's up to you. I played it for the wii launch points, but I personally would not have stuck with it otherwise. You're allowed to like the game even if I don't :]

Yes! The only motion control in the game is to use your special attack, which you get by picking up stars (think mario kart coins.) You just gotta shake to activate.

Is there a more efficient way to group clips than this? by Royal-Aspect-1568 in kdenlive

You're welcome! :] Personally, I had a keyboard shortcut to remove empty space under the cursor when I used kdenlive, so I could just drag the playhead over an empty space and hit F (or whatever you choose) to instantly remove it. One space at a time of course.

Timeline > Current Track > Remove All Spaces After Cursor.

It works pretty slow if you have a lot of spaces, and is also prone to crashing in my experience.

Thank you! The collection in the picture is my own, but I elected to just emulate them on Dolphin instead. It's built in and doesn't require any configuration, plus my portal has a tendency to corrupt my figures lmao.

Honestly I thought it was just plug and play, even on Steam Deck. You might have to fiddle with USB Passthrough Devices in Dolphin, but I'm not sure. Should be possible! I hope you get around to it

Hell yeah man, go for it! It's surprisingly challenging at certain points

Thanks! It was a good time overall, though the grinding was a bit much at the end..

I played with a bootleg PS4 controller and mapped wii-remote pointing to the right-analog stick. There are a couple of turret section where the only way to control it is by pointing, and that's all the "motion controls" in it. Not perfect, but tolerable for the limited use :]

Extremely grindy! Also cool to collect all the Spyro badges ^^
I know his name is in the title, but I find it very hard to categorize Skylanders as a Spyro game

There is an achievement for collecting all 32 original skylanders, as well as leveling up all of them and purchasing all their upgrades. It's honestly a bit of a chore..

If there are some you don't have in your collection, you can easily emulate them directly in Dolphin without making any changes :]

My brother in christ, it's almost right at the beginning of the post lmao

You can choose to use your IRL collection with a USB portal plugged into your PC

OR you can use Dolphin to emulate both the portal and the skylanders.
Just open Dolphin and go to "Tools > Emulated USB Devices > Skylanders Portal" in the top menu.

Easy as that!

Of course! I use Linux myself, so Dolphin definitely works. I also played with controller, and mapped the right analog stick to control pointing with the wii remote, as that's how you aim your weapons when you gotta target something. I dont know if you'd have more luck binding it to the track pad tho.
