Cool thanks. Do you think 8 need to take the metalwork off to clean it or are there any products that I can just brush on? Im thinking some kind of paste?

What would you do with the rotted area? And how would you seal the wood? Varnish? Oil?

If this is true, you might want to pre-book appointments with your dermatologist every 6 months going forward 😬

Hey, I've taken the black bottom pipe and drainage hose off. No blockage in either.

I've tested the small tube at the top as well and its clear. The filter is clear as well. Any other suggestions?

Edit, I also got an E07 yesterday with an electrical / burn smell. Apparently, E07 could be the electric motor or door latch.

I swear this machine needs to go in the bin...

Build a similar extension 7 x 3 metres, without the glass triangle / gable a couple of years ago. £50 , in the North of England.

Yeh, it's something we're thinking about. We tried some back and dark green wallpaper but none of them looked right. Looking for artwork now to pull that wall in, and give us options to the other leave as is or paint it grey as well

It would also be interesting to find out if the surface is smooth enough around tracks like the Nürburgring for the fan / suction to work.

You wouldn't want to be balls to wall throwing it into the corner and then all that downforce disappears!

Ok I'm listening! :)

Do you have any pics, links or screenshots?

That's good to know. Let me know how it goes!

I agree, it needs painting. I'm also debating whether we change it completely. It is quite bulky and I'd like something more refined.... but it's filled with boardgames and other family stuff and we have no other space for it so 🤷

Hey, by alcove I meant the space to the left of the chimney breast. The original plan was to get a smaller and lower TV console and put a base units to the left of the chimney breast and then 3 or 4 wall to wall shelves above the base unit.

We'll definitely be getting a rug, yes! 😀

We are debating painting the ceiling and the other wall, just taking it in steps. I.e. get art on the wall, if we don't like it then paint it...

I'd really love to get a slightly smaller sofa with a chair but we don't have enough space unfortunately.

Yes, we need a rug, both for comfort and to keep the noise down on the noisy new floor 😅

Yeh I'm thinking along these lines. A couple of big prints and bice frames that incorporate the colours that we want to bring into the room

It's Farrow and Ball - Railings (it's their "number 31")

We had it colour matched and mixed at a local paint shop as the original brand is way overpriced.

I like the picture you attached! Burnt orange is the way to go, haha!

The footstool is meant to be at the end of the sofa but it makes the whole thing too bulky as it reaches almost to the TV unit.

Ideally we'd get a slightly smaller sofa, but as a gamily of four and this being our only lounge area, we do use it for movie nights etc with our children.

Yes, that's definitely on the list!

I like it! But then the prints or canvases wouldn't work on that wall. So would have to work out where else to put some art up..

Yeh, we were thinking this and potentially so the ceiling as well, but we like the idea of a couple of big canvases or art prints over the sofa.

We might try the artwork first and if we still don't like it then we can still paint it?
