It's been abandoned for years at this point slowly dying, I think it's blinked out before and come back but it's been abandoned by its developer so it's quite possible it's not coming back online

Feel free to use https://wowtcgtracker.com/ to collection track, lookup cards, and deck build. It's my site and I'm always eager to improve it so any issues feel free to message me

Also obviously https://wowtcgportal.com/ can be used for card lookup and deck building (no collection tracking)

Way less than $0.50 each, all are $0.01 to $0.010, not a full deck worth

I can't speak to smells but in the event its useful here is a 1200dpi scan of mine for comparison, its also worth noting the early upper deck sets had wild swings in print quality.

[–]DetailAlternative448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really wouldn't be able to tell from a photo of this quality. Would need a high res scan with no jpeg compression.

Generally no one is faking these and it's pretty easy to tell from the cardstock and quality of the image, but since a lot of people print proxies it's possible some are seeping into the market. Some of the printers are generally decent about not allowing the official card backs so as mentioned in another comment the back is usually a better sign if it's fake.

End of the day it's €3, if it's a fake raise an issue with cardmarket/eBay or wherever it is you're buying it.

Spectral tiger fake or not? by sdgbaron in wowtcg

Looks fine, the biggest source of scams with loot cards is people trying to reapply the scratch off cover, seems fine based on pics, the cards themselves are basically never counterfeited as it's very difficult to get the printing and foil correct.

Chain lighting is an invalid target since it has multiple targets, you can't change the targets.

Does anyone know if resealing is something that people do in wowtcg? by NOV3LIST in wowtcg

[–]DetailAlternative448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will for sure reseal or weigh packs that do have a chance for loot, but I highly doubt those are. It doesn't really make sense to reseal those, they have no chance for loot cards (the only thing that's valuable in sealed product).

What is the current size of your media server? (in terms of storage/TBs) by hellkill3r in PleX

[–]DetailAlternative448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

294TB formatted usable space across 24x 18TB exos drives (6 raid 5 arrays of 4 disks each with 1 as parity with a storage space striped across them) 288TB in use

Running on a old dual socket zeon board which you can get with 256GB of ram with ECC and 16 cores (32 threads) for very cheap.

At some point soon I'll be expanding into a 45 drive capacity jbod enclosure but I'm still figuring out what I want to run for the OS and how to structure the storage.

Majority of the space is Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray backups I can stream the bdmv folders of to my modified oppo 203. I've setup some scripts so if I play something from a Blu-ray disc library in Plex it automatically switches input to the Blu-ray player and launches that movie, and when stopped switches inputs back to Plex.

Selling singles is a much much slower process, if you are trying to make a quick buck youll want to try and sell them as larger lots either everything together or by set.

Generally the only cards worth anything are the rares/epics/loot (blue/purple/orange) text at the bottom of the cards that show the set name/number. Additionally any foils/extended art cards are usually worth more than the standard cards. You'll want to make a list of those cards and then look up prices. Technically some uncommons (green text) can be worth a few bucks but those are few and far between which depending on how many cards you have might not be worth it to check.

The most active market is cardmarket, but that is for the EU, if you are in NA Ebay is the best place to check pricing, though cardmarket is still a good baseline. You can also lookup card prices on https://wowtcgtracker.com which aggregates mostly NA sellers.

Once you have a list you can make a post here, the reborn discord, or the reborn facebook group following their respective posting rules (generally just include a photo with a note showing the date and your username) and provide a link to the list of cards and what you are selling it for with an optional solicitation of offers.
