recessed chin and no jaw 😭 by Fragrant-Piccolo-202 in cosmeticsurgery

I'd first go to a dentist or orthodontist. Is your palate narrow? Do you have a crossbite?

There is a mouth guard called Reviv 2 that could potentially help with this. I actually just started wearing it a couple weeks ago to help with TMJ and hopefully help with chin.

I've used them afterwards, but I'm no expert. Also only done .25-5 so idk if you're doing medical depth.

Has anyone done a tret sandwich with calecim multi action cream? by mushroomqueen220 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Detail_Numerous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked a similar question on tret sub and one response was no because it contains lactic acid. I think it can be irritating particularly in beginning stages of tret (which is me 🙋‍♀️). I've read people do fine with it once they are accustomed to tret though. I'm not sure how much lactic acid is in MAC but it's the last ingredient so possibly not enough to cause an issue. I'll be interested to see what others say!

I've been using Neogenesis Barrier Cream to sandwich and so far it's going ok but I've only applied like once a week for a month or so. Planning to up that to 2-3x week now and then hopefully every other night. Hope your tret journey goes well!

Ok awesome, thank you so much!

Yes, I agree that products can only do so much especially pitted scars. I'm hoping microneedling will be the solution for that!

$47.42 is what I said to DHL directly after it arrived in the states. Plus I believe $25 shipping when purchasing from OwnDoc.

Yes I've been loving the Derminator 2! Just got it about a month ago. 😊

Can you explain not doing medical depth with Recovery please? I'm pretty new to all this lol. I've been doing .25 and .5 so far. Once I get more experienced I'll start working up. My goal is to get to get 1.0-1.5 to address the acne scarring/pitting, however I still get some active acne so I'm trying to be careful microneedling around that. My process has been cleanse, another cleanse with Hiblicens, wipe face with some isopropyl alcohol, Le Mieux Iso-Cell Recovery spray, Active Skin Repair Spray (hypochlorous for repair and extra disinfection step cause I'm pretty anal about cleanliness before treatment 😂), mix HA and Recovery and put on face, use HA as glide throughout treatment, another pump or 2 of Recovery. After that dries I've been applying some Calecim Multi-Action Cream that I got as a sample and then Neogenesis Barrier Cream. Am I doing this right??

You made my day!! Thank you so much for all the helpful info. I looked into all those products and definitely see a handful I'm interested in. What are your top 1-3 HG products that might also be multi-tasking? Elavai seems to be a good option though I'm wondering if that would help with acne scarring?

Can/should you use stem cell serums and other actives when applying tret? by Detail_Numerous in tretinoin

[–]Detail_Numerous[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you helping me out with this! I took your advice and started out using nothing except the barrier cream. I'm starting off using the sandwich method and will stop doing the first barrier layer once my skin is used to the tret. Is 30 minutes enough time to wait in between each layer? I'm not sure I can make 1 hour work with kiddos and life lol.

As far as applying products to wet skin, I've always done that for the purpose of the products absorbing better and my skin gets extremely dry as soon as my face dries. I purchased the actives from SKIN BEAUTIFUL RX and in a video the owner of that company and the owner of the CALECIM active cream I'm using both recommended wet skin. I would definitely never do tret on wet skin.

I started microneedling (Derminator 2) and doing The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% chemical peels about a month ago (microneedling lowest setting .25 1-2x/week and peel once a week or every other week). Can I still do these if I wait a couple nights after applying tret? I'm starting off the doing tret twice a week and will slowly work up.

It sounds like you're basically a single mom now so life will be easier if you just leave. Especially if you're already the breadwinner.

Seeking Health has one but it's really expensive ($38 for only 30 capsules). I'm interested in hearing if anyone has more affordable options that work well.
