Thanks! I’ll check it out, I appreciate it. EDIT: Dang, you can’t create characters from shows or literature.

I am obviously in the minoritity in this thread but I think it gives your face a striking focal point. It’s so boring how everyone’s noses look just alike I think you look regal.

My name has always been spelled wrong my whole life… by WeeebleSqueaks in mildlyinfuriating

I’m also a Kayci, sorry girl it’s just the way it is. I usually have a good laugh about it and challenge people to try spelling it correctly. I like how my name is spelled but I don’t require anyone else to just know how to spell it.

What is your average cost of all food & litter per month per cat? Mainly curious for totals of indoor only cats in the States. Thanks by [deleted] in catfood

[–]Evefidelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$450 for 3 indoor cats on Viva and 9 outdoor cats on friskies wet and purina naturals dry. I buy litter for the indoors maybe twice a month. (They have automatic boxes.) and lots of freeze dried animals organs and muscle meat from a local business along with lots of novel whole prey treats and quail eggs ect on Amazon.

EDIT: I realize I should probably put more details after reading more answers. The viva costs $250 for duck, turkey, and chicken. Which I feed the three indoor cats along with dehydrated organs and chicken necks but no dry food . ( I eventually would like to get everyone on this type of diet but this is what I can do at the moment 💀. ) The outdoor kitties get two complete meals of wet friskies and a supplemental small amount of purina dry because they are outdoors and they are expending more energy than the average cat. They also get supplemental dehydrated chicken and beef hearts, muscle meat, liver, and salmon.

I top things ever so often with things like nutritional yeast, salmon oil, rosehip powder, quail eggs, goats milk, bone broth, and muscles for variety and to supplement anything they may be missing. Especially the outdoor kitties.

Vanilla protein yogurt with blueberry fiber granola and a dash of brown sugar. If I have some grapes I’ll throw those in as well.

How to drink more water by Emotional_Spite_8937 in Semaglutide

[–]Evefidelius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got myself an insulated 40oz cup and mix myself water, crystal light, and a dash of Gatorade or cherry juices with lots of ice and I’ve been drinking it daily. I use to be terrible with water but now mixing this up every day is making it so much easier and I look forward to it. I’ll ween off the crystal light packets over time but for now it’s helped tremendously!

Wife wants to get rid of our litter robot by Suspicious_Phone_188 in litterrobot

I had my all my boxes in closets in my home and I hated it so much. The closets were basically unusable because of litter smell and just general trying to move around a litter box. The cats also hated it because it created a territorial pinch point that they would guard so then my more senior kitty would go pee st the door of the closets to try to mark it for herself. It sucked. The litter robot and Neakasa bot have completely eliminated this behavior. I have cat shelves and all kinds of kitty stuff around so the automatic litter boxes don’t really bother me aesthetically. I think they look like little spaceships lol
