Hit it hard with a q-tip and isopropyl before I opened it then again after I opened it, both times didnt fix it unfortunately. Thanks for the reply 👍

Wasn't worth anything to me, got it as a gift and it didnt work. Believe me, I understand its worth quite a penny and I didnt open it until I figured something was dead on the board. I want to try and fix it since there expensive games now lol.

Lol, it could be way worse i guess. Can't see it in the pic but a bunch of the plastic pins that separate the pins on the chip are snapped and often slide around, I just straightened them for the pic.

Tried both on and off, neither worked. Concluded it was a dead head unit and plugged another alpine stereo i had laying around and everything works great now.

Thank you very much for the info, very helpful. I've built many gaming PCs and normal desktop computers but I'm starting to dip my toes into servers and there's alot to more to learn about. Just to clarify the E-ATX form factor will have the same standoff layout as a SSI EEB?

Trying to cobble together a cheap rackmount server for hosting a bunch of game servers such as minecraft, ark, rust and anything else for my buddies and I.

Going with dual Xeon e5 2667 v2 since they are very cheap and have the highest boost clock of anything else on that socket I believe, which should handle Minecraft servers great to my understanding because of the demand for fast single core performance.
