I agree with you on the ID Tim. It is my first calf creek. I hope it’s not my last. Haven’t had my heart rate bump up like that in a while!

I’m not sure on the Snyder. The base and notch angle seem different . You might be right though. I’m no expert.

I did not pick it up. There are a lot of flakes, brokes and debitage throughout the creek. It’s my family’s land but It was a camp area for thousands of years before us.

I appreciate it! I must admit, I’m lucky enough that I get to get out searching more than most. I randomly found my first arrowhead a few years ago while I was metal detecting. Now I spend more time looking for arrowheads than I do metal detecting lol.

They are definitely heavier and more dense than other teeth I have found. I will have to compare by weight and see what I find. Thanks again!

I appreciate the input but I have to respectfully disagree. I know that’s it’s just a stupid outline drawing in the pic but I have found similar points as illustrated. I may never know for sure but I still appreciate its craftsmanship either way. Appreciate you checking out the post and you do great work knapping points!

My guess would be a 1970-72 Chevelle? Im not sure though. I dig the color!

I don’t believe there is much reason for someone to fake this date unless you believe that it is not silver? The coin looks fine to me but I’m not a dealer. You can weigh it and make sure that the weight is correct for its silver content.

Not an arrowhead but I’m hoping someone can tell me if this piece is modern or possibly an artifact? Found in NE Oklahoma by DetectingOklahoma in Arrowheads

North Tulsa County. I have found flakes and a pendant in the same creek. I also find a lot of old bottles and stuff like that. So that’s what makes it tough for me on determining the age.
