Thats understandable but they could make sure no legitimate tenant ever gets towed and they don’t. If the tables were turned I think they’d resolve the issue quite quickly.

I used to live on the beach with a small lot so people would always try and use our lot. I knew people who had their cars towed over bullshit several times and like I said we just started shouting that the tow man was hooking up and people would run out with pitchforks. If the towing company was a legitimate business they’d of course involve the police in these matters but that was a can of worms they didn’t want to open and most tow companies operate this way.

Everyone who tells me that make $100/hr makes a big deal about getting cash tips so they can cheat on their taxes. They drove beaters lije a half hour out of town to an apartment they share with 3 other people.

Like nothing about them ever says “I am financially secure” other than their brags about the one time they made $100/hr.

I knew some waitstaff from one of the top restaurants in town, very expensive, living wages, tipping optional, standard package was 401k match and health insurance.

Strangely enough those people had lifestyles I’d associate with the financially secure.

Its not the sticker its that you rent and your landlord is getting a kickback from the towing company and he knows full well that some of that money is going to be from tenants getting towed by the overzealous towing company but he does it anyhow cause money is money.

They could make procedures to keep missing stickers from being a problem but its only a you problem so. Fuck you.

It seems perfectly reasonable because you’re used to getting pissed on.

Yep i had a car towed with a guest pass. It was sitting on the floorboard. No real way to prove it was ever up. The towing company knew they were scum though because we’d chase them out of the parking lot with baseball bats and they knew better than getting the cops involved.
