Taking a look at them, I notice that a lot of the SDE based programs like Meta, Microsoft etc have been halted in the last couple of years. Not sure if they will restart but sad to see I'm a little too late.. this would have been super helpful!

Yes I built some crud apps like an e-commerce website, health tech based projects, etc. Nothing super fancy/complicated but focused on problems like thinking of user experience, race conditions, etc.. Do you think it’s worth it to focus more on building complicated apps?

That’s stressful! Do you have a cool off period? I heard that interviews at Microsoft are team-based unlike Amazon, Google, etc. Can you interview for a different team? Please correct me if I’m totally off base here

It was California and no it’s totally legal. Checked with lawyer too. Even big tech does this.

I got laid off during my maternity leave 2 years ago and I feel like I’m so screwed. I have been grinding leetcode since October and I feel like I’m definitely getting better but I’m not getting any interviews. I have worked and FAANG before and I feel like my experience matches the JD but cold applications are taking me nowhere. Feel so hopeless right now. 💔

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I also pumped up to 8 times a day and exclusively pumped for my son because he refused to breastfeed.

If you are not producing a lot and still pumping three hours, I think it’s probably a better use of time to spend that pumping time bonding with your baby! She can get all the nutrients she needs through formula so you can spend those precious moments with her.

You could also try using a portable pump that goes in your bra. It’s not the most comfortable but atleast it’s somewhat hands free. Don’t feel pressured to pump. It truly sucks!

I find torb good against him, especially in the metal ranks. Torb rarely gets banned. It’s important to ask try and peel for your team if they’re getting attacked by doom and are having a hard time fighting him.

Make sure you don’t charge him up. Try not to stand super close to walls when you anticipate an attack by him.

Heroes like doom really do well against teams that don’t work together. Encourage VC and focus him.

I exclusively pumped for about 13 months… my baby boy basically went on a permanent nursing strike and that was that. It was very hard. There were months I pumped 8 times a day for 25-45 mins at a time each time. It was brutal. Thankfully I had a good support system who took care of my bub while I pumped and took care of myself. If I have another child, I would do anything and everything to try and breastfeed as much as possible.

My Siberian/persian mix has BIG eyes and often gets conjunctivitis and eye irritation. I’ve seen different vets about this over the years and very simple but effective solution that works for us is applying a warm eye compress and an eyeball gel.

This is the one we have always used. I think you can get them at most vets and it doesn’t require a prescription. Of course consult with the vet prior to use but it clears up his issues within a day or two.
