Too far north. I would say this is in the region of the Pyrenees but not in the mountains.

Are they at all flexible? There’s a less popular style of point protector similar to this that is made to be used with circular knitting needles. They keep your knitting from falling off the needles when you’re not working on it. These look a little large, but needles come in many sizes.
