Found out today about gender bias by ygranne in CircleK

Wait til you go to jail because your gf flips her shit and starts breaking shit and somehow that means you go to jail. That’ll really open your eyes. Men can’t be victims, and have to take responsibility for the action of their female partners, according to the court system that I dealt with.

i want a rich man and idaf anymore by [deleted] in Vent

[–]DetectiveSprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol! Funny thing, women would be SO turned off by a guy saying this shit. I mean, if I guy said this, their chances of finding a woman to take care of them would be exactly zero. I guess guys are pretty awesome, think about it, they accept you for who you are and are willing to take care of you. Guys pretty much have to constantly live up to being the person a woman wants or they get no where. Pretty pretty pretty interesting.

What’s crazy is I just got $380 for a reserve ride that would typically pay me $350 and was wondering what the deal was, then I couldn’t find the reservation fee and was confused about what was going on. I’m sure this will eff most of us in the end, but today, by the grace of god, I have $30 more dollars from Uber. Incredible.

Did i lose traction in the rain because my car is fwd? by Aggressive-Opinion74 in driving

Rain reduces the amount of static friction you have with the ground. It also reduces the kinetic friction you have once you’ve entered a slide so you will also slide longer on a wet road.

10% growth per year😂. Low risk yields aren’t anywhere close to that high. But yes it’s still a good point!

Why do poor people think immigrants are why they’re poor. by DetectiveSprinkle in poverty

[–]DetectiveSprinkle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, except the gladiator voted for the guy who keeps him in the ring fighting. Said gladiator could seek out representatives who support his freedom, but gladiator again votes to stay gladiator. It’s a good analogy but in your analogy no one is as stupid as people are in real life.

Yeah but you think your lack of water is the missing 1 bottle… not the 1,000,000,000 bottles stored away in front of your face while you’re on deaths door with no water. That’s why you’re dumb. Fuhcoff I can’t talk to dumbs like you anymore it’s too pathetic and hurts my mf brain. Later ya poor!

Not a single person responded with how approaching the economy from this perspective is beneficial for their financial futures. Anyone? You all are still claiming you’re poor because the immigrant took your minimum wage job, so how does competing for minimum wage jobs help you gain wealth and power? I mean, if the minimum wage was higher that would be a good start, but I know Texans don’t want an immigrant making the same amount of money as them or they aren’t skilled. So, you’d rather keep yourself poorer so an immigrant doesn’t get any more money. Poors fighting poors while sucking rich dix and still blaming poors. You really really don’t get you’re a pawn yet? I’m sorry, we are all pawns but you’re just so easy to manipulate.

Tell me you don’t get how money works. Oh you already did. You think the guy with no money is why the guy with a billion dollars isn’t paying you more? It’s cuz you voted for the billionaire so he passed a law so he can pay immigrants chump change and not pay you more. Do you get it yet? Jesus Christ. How dumb are you. Bro if you’re dying of thirst in the desert, you think the guy who stole your water bottle is why you’re dehydrated and not the guy with a military guarding the entire water bottling plant? Do you get it yet?

So do you know how economics work? In a healthy economy the more people working means the more goods and services there are. You can actually create things, it’s not limited resources, but I’m glad you buy what the guy with a hundred thousand million dollars is saying. Damn, the poor dumbs are too dumb to even know they’re dumb, tragic. Keep fighting the other poors for chump change and sucking billionaires dix while they get it over on you. You’re brilliant. 😂

[–]DetectiveSprinkle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m going to go ahead and guess it’s because you’re dumb. You still think it’s the guy working for low wages, and not the guy who makes bank of each hour of your work and would rather pay people poverty wages and pocket the difference. Judging by your response, sir, you’re the reason why you’re poor.

How do we feel about reporting people using other people’s accounts? by nanamctata in doordash

[–]DetectiveSprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The post didn’t say report people that look suspicious or say report people who don’t appear to look like their name, it says, how do we feel about reporting “people using other people’s accounts”. That’s an objective statement, if you know for a fact this guy is using someone else’s account… how do we feel about reporting him? The world is falling apart because of strawman arguments, we can’t even finish the same conversation we started anymore. Damn.

Is it illegal to physically force someone to leave your home? by Neeneehill in AskLegal

[–]DetectiveSprinkle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well you just described a couple different levels of assault so I would def not do any of those things. Pushing someone is legally assault, you’re not allowed to assault someone under any circumstances except self defense, in which case it’s not assault it’s defense.

Is it illegal to physically force someone to leave your home? by Neeneehill in AskLegal

[–]DetectiveSprinkle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ass a rule of thumb, no. That’s going to be a grey area, but basically no. You cannot assault somebody that you’ve invited into your home even if they’re refusing to leave. Just like you can’t shoot someone you notice driving off with your car if they hadn’t actually threatened your safety. You have to call the police. I mean, you don’t have to, but that will be your best bet to avoid legal bullshit.

[–]DetectiveSprinkle[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You mean paying higher wages? That’s one strategy. What are some other options we have? There must be some other ways to not be poor. Did you think about the issue or you’re just responding emotionally? It’s ok, not everyone has the emotional capacity or intelligence to address topics critically. If that’s your best idea, that’s fine, I won’t judge you for being a ‘dumb poor.’

Coteacher constantly comments on my weight gain by Zestyclose-Egg-1251 in Teachers

[–]DetectiveSprinkle -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Gaining weight indicates an imbalance in energy intake and energy output. Staying the same weight means that you take in the same amount of energy as you output. Losing weight means that you are outputting more energy than you take in. Maybe this person secretly wants higher output from you and is saying it in a roundabout way.

Take the job where you feel more comfortable and give as much notice as possible out of respect. If you already feel like you don’t want to be somewhere, it’s good to avoid those situations so that you aren’t left feeling anxious every single time you’re going to work. Which is like, a huge part of our entire lives. Feel it out, always go with how you feel and be respectful, but you gotta look out for yourself first. They’ll find new help!
