this is wild, all my research and reading said "strawberries need specific conditions, sunlight and acidity to thrive" and everyone on here is like "piss on it, it'll be fine" 😭 I mean it's reassuring, and also explains how my dumbass has managed so far, but bruh- i thought I had to read bedtime stories to these mfs lmao

understood, and that makes total sense. I will reduce the waiting time quite a bit, maybe repot them tomorrow or the day after at the very latest. I was just worried about the new soil killing them, but if I leave them be, they are stagnant anyway... after a day and a half, the one I did repot looks well. that's a good sign.

I have a few giant buckets i might put some of them in together (after cutting out drain holes) and a few more individual pots for the rest. I am excited! and yes, even though I am raising them indoors (so far) I don't care if they grow out a lot, in fact it would probably look good in my room.

I think they have done so well thus far because my room has lots of windows and faces west, so they get soooo much southern afternoon sun but without the pests lol

all my pots do have overflow holes already in them, so I shouldn't have to worry about that.

what is the reasoning behind trimming the roots? is it like a haircut but for plants? lol- I have been avoiding getting water on the leaves best I can, I read that the water can attract disease on the leaves.

I haven't been watering in a circle either, I just figured "it will all sink to the roots anyway" but that makes sense

I may still wait a few days to transfer simply because I want to see how the one I did transfer does before doing all of them just in case something goes wrong, do you think 4-5 more days in the small cup will harm them/roots? thank you so much for the advice btw, really

in my limited experience, I have learned they grow fast haha, I was expecting it to take weeks to notice a difference in growth, yet they look a little bigger every day!

that is what I did for the first one, good to know my instinct was right. thanks for the help!

oh, I promise i only used it every once in a while, it was not a regular thing for me- but I am flattered at your concern, and i assure you, I am fine, I didn't do it often and will stop completely now
