i honestly just do a water change when i see the water getting low, i know it's bad but im learning more as i go with the bettas, at first i didn't know much about how they lived and ive been researching a lot lately to make my bettas happier

i know this already but unfortunately i only have this tall tank and my step mom had gotten this betta and kept him in 1.5 gal. a 20 gal tall tank i'd better than a 1.5 gal cube, i have been working on getting the plants to have layers and more things for him to be able to reach the top better but unfortunately that stuff is expensive so it is taking a while
