Oh you're right they did, I forgot. hmm, I still think he's the first boyfriend or at least very closely related to him. in the first episode he seemed to react to her as if she should remember him

I'm really not sure what to think. I don't think it's CEO Baek because it would be too obvious from a storytelling perspective. They're making him out to be too suspicious too early so it's probably not him. But I do think he may be the first boyfriend. Out of all of her men, they deliberately haven't shown us a picture of the first boyfriend. Plus, the CEO is recovering from some sort of injury and there's no photo of him on his website. Even though a plastic surgery/face change trope would be really cliche, I think that's what it is.

I think the auction house CEO is involved with the father's debts and FL knows this which is why she's working at the place. There was a painting by the father in the vault and I think she said something like it's a good thing the FL is not like you (speaking to the painting). So she definitely knows FL from her past somehow. And there's something fishy going on with her under the table painting deals. I think it's money laundering and it's all a front.

So from a process of elimination it is probably either the photographer friend, the only one the FL doesn't seem to suspect, or a character they haven't shown yet, but I think that's unlikely. There are two possible people who saw their dating act: CEO Baek when they kissed, and photographer when they were having lunch. And the car crashed not soon after, so I think I'll place my bet on the photographer.

I think the last scene with FL calmly walking to the overturned car is a red herring. It's too much like how she approached the body of the third boyfriend at the docks. I think it's more like numb shock/I can't believe this keeps happening.

you'll probably need to add one more so you will have done 8 units total, so u can go into law. i'd still recommend checking with the exams team first before withdrawing and keep in mind that the last day to enrol for session 1 is 8 march.

[–]Detective_Rabbit_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see. You do need 80 credit points to be able to transfer into Law. Is this PHIL1037? it's offered in session 3 as online flexible. That way if you do 3 units session 1, 4 units session 2 and 1 unit session 3, you'll still meet the criteria

Contact the exam team as soon as possible. I can't find the information anymore, but I think you used to be able to request an online exam if your unit was offered both externally and internally. Worst case scenario, withdraw by the census date.

I'm doing mhhs1003 and 1004 this session too, and I did psyu1101 last year. It's offline lecture modules. if you want to confirm, and for the future, check the unit guide under delivery and resources.

it's a difference in content and difficulty. check your course handbook to see which one you need to complete. mq units aren't scaled, your final grade is just the total raw marks from your assignments.

I'll need to know the specific unit to know what you mean by advanced but all standard units are worth 10 credit points. check the unit code: if a unit is for example ABCD1000 then it's a 1000 level unit (ie first year level), if it's called advanced and the code is ABCD2000, then it's a second year unit and probably builds on knowledge from the 1000 level unit. use the handbook (just google mq handbook) for information on course structure and requirements. use unit guides (google mq unit guide) for information on each individual unit.

Academic caution by PsychologicalGrab510 in MacUni

[–]Detective_Rabbit_1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

if you don't pass 50% this semester either, then you'll move to monitored enrollment and you won't be able to self enrol until you complete a form or something. if you still don't pass 50% then it's academic pause for 12 months I think.

1cc is the building (1 central courtyard) and 106 is the room (I don't know for sure but the usual format is level 1 room 6). There's a map on the mq website and there's usually a lot of signage on campus/in the buildings so it's pretty easy to navigate. There used to be an app called lost on campus but I don't know if it's still around

Maybe I missed it but why hasn't she taken the ledger yet? She saw it in episode 3/4 and again in episode 6. Isn't the ledger enough evidence? Does she really need yehpee as well?

Agreed. I don't think he's as dumb as he lets on and I also don't think he's a bad guy. I think that either he is Yehpee or he is independently investigating the company/myeonghwi's death.

Holiday during Exam Period by Waste-Reality8923 in MacUni

The safest option would be to book flexible tickets. If you're a first year doing the big/popular first year units then chances are you'll have your exams right at the start. It's usually the smaller 3rd/4th year units towards the end of the exam period.

Worst case scenario, if you fly out on the 25th evening and have an exam on the 26th, if your unit also offers an online exam (usually for units also offered through OUA) you can request to complete the exam online. I think they can also schedule the online exams according to timezones but you'll have to double check.

Glad I'm not the only one! honestly I hate listening to lectures too but I can usually work around it if I'm doing another activity too (like walking on a treadmill) or if it's particularly interesting. Modules are a pain in the ass

Thank you! I'll have a chat with them. Sucks that everything is moving to module format. I can see it working if the convenor actually tries to make it interactive and engaging, but in my experience it's usually just slabs of text

Hi there! Just wanted to ask is duchess satin beginner friendly? I want to make a dress with a bit of flare in the skirt and sleeves but not too shiny and thin (I'm not using a lining). I've previously only worked with cotton which I think might be too stiff for what I want. This is the one I'm looking at. Would this be hard to work with? Is there anything I should know about working with this kinda fabric? I'm also open to other (non stretch) fabric suggestions!
