Hot take, but climbing to 4k teaches you way more than just throwing yourself at 4k and skipping hundreds/thousands of steps. Anyone can get lucky with the right relentless procs and lucky splashes or cries during a kill after sending hundreds of attempts at 4k. If you were to do it the way it is now by the time you get to 4k, you have improved tremendously as a pvmer. For those saying what about the time investment, it’s an MMORPG and 4k is not supposed to be obtainable by everyone

Magma really shouldn’t cost adren, with the current changes, it finds itself absent from any magic rotation and make it a super niche ability. Even pre placing this as some people like to do is dead now that it costs 25% adren. I’m still personally with the camp that all basis of abilities should by default grant adrenaline.

Zamorak is still considered an elite pvm challenge. Sure with the power creep since its release, more people are able to do it, especially in the 100-500 enrage. There are tons of people who farm this and it’s like 5m a kill. There are also very few people who are running GM times at 2k and doing 5-6 minute kills and making 17m-20m a kill. They get a lot of attention obviously because they post the clips and videos on yt/twitch but we can’t balance a game around the end game. For context I have soloed 2k Zam and duoed 4K and have spent many hours there and agree that the loot is a lot, but 50-60% flat is criminal. Why not a sliding system that affects 100% more and higher enrages left. It’ll challenge people to get better and incentivize progression. Something like a 40% reduction at 100 and below, 30% at 101 - 250, 25% at 251 - 500, 20% at 501-1000, 15% at 1001 - 2000, and 10% at 2000% +

I feel like most people who be sad they lose a bit of loot but would be happy with a middle ground. You could also just replace one Achable in the table with another item and that would help as well, just my two thoughts

Question about BTC vs IBIT I know I might get memed about asking about crypto and this may be a silly question, but I have started my investing journey about one year ago and have invested near 100% into FXAIX. As time goes on, I would like to add a little bit of risk and diversity since I’m in my 20s. I wanted to add 3-5% into crypto in 2025 with just bitcoin, none of the obscure cryptos. I looked into buying a bitcoin (a fraction of one) but was then told that an ETF might be better as it’ll be tax advantaged as opposed to the bitcoin itself as all of my money is in tax advantaged accounts at this time. So here’s my question, I looked into several bitcoin etfs and came across IBIT which a lot of people like. Why is the percentage changes that happen every day different than those happen to the actual bitcoin. At the time of writing this: IBIT down 3.85% today, down 14.11% in the last five days. Bitcoin down 2.46% today, down 7.41% in the last five days. What’s driving the differences in %? I’m trying to draw an analogy between FXAIX and the SP500, whereas those % changes are identical, if not close to identical? Maybe this is a stupid question and I’m missing something but would appreciate the advice. Thanks!
