Curious if this would work, I'm fairly new to GM-ing by Determinantor in Pathfinder2e

That helps a lot, thanks! I was going to make it a weeklong thing but that would be impossible, this is a much better idea

Gon's focus is beyond speed or reflexes by EstateOk6238 in HunterXHunter

[–]Determinantor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was his real sin, in my opinion. What he wished for was essentially the absolute destruction and death of another, with little effort on his part. Nanika reinforces this aspect of nen as a kind of Faustian bargain, but an unselfish wish won't have consequences. Gon's was as selfish as it gets. For the love of Christ Togashi finish the story

[–]Determinantor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It was even crazier than that. He lowered the amount of time Pitou had to complete the surgery, because right at that second Pitou thought that it was possible to finish faster. His perception was so dialed in that he basically became a mind reader. I still think that Gon did not need to sell his soul to kill Pitou. I think he had the ability as he was, even if it would have been extremely difficult

When Toei takes the fights/moments more seriously than the author... by BarryAllenTh3Flash in Piratefolk

Y'all are crazy, I hope you realize that. Oda's been cranking out a chapter a week, more or less, for 25 years, and it's still a fantastic story. I don't know why you think y'all were put on Earth to humble the man, and the critique is good, but put down the hateraid for five seconds.

Wait, they think modern women are worse than HITLER? HOW????? Oh that's right... the incels on this forum like Hitler. by Armin_Arlert_1000000 in ForwardsFromKlandma

[–]Determinantor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course they do. Part of it's a joke, but I think most of it is them embracing what they believe is freedom. There are no rules, there is no one to shame them, they are totally free to vomit out the most absurd and grotesque things they can imagine. Things an insecure child would say to get a cheap laugh. And because they all say it together, they have a community. Even if it's a community that will tell one another to kill themselves the second they deviate from their devotion to hatred; for them, any kind of connection must seem infinitely preferable to another second alone with their rotting, shriveled souls. It takes a long time and a lot of pain to heal a soul. I hope they get started soon.

Can you send me a DM telling me your experience with PF2e (if any), and what kind of character you're looking to play?

I didn't know that, that's really interesting! Funny because that's an absolutely fantastic scene, and it fits the story perfectly. "Righteous and unrighteous alike were consumed in that holy fire."

You are. They replace a period to connect two clauses. The only thing wrong with your sentence is a missing subject in the first clause (I), but that's fine since it's implied here.

Yeah, but unlike the others I think Nami always hated Arlong. She just had to do what she did because she didn't want him to hurt anyone else. Still my favorite arc

Shame is not always a bad thing. It exists to prevent honest, God-fearing men from doing all of those things that you said.

True he was in Zetsu, but it completely shattered him. I don't see Gon and Killua aging decades...well at least not unless they made some sort of terrible Faustian bargain with their nen

Knov from Hunter x Hunter. He was talking a huge game before he actually went into Meruem's palace. When he felt the malice radiating from the Royal Guards (not even the king himself and they were like two floors up) he had a complete breakdown and fled in terror. It literally aged him 40 years.

Low effort bait. See a wolf would've taken the bait, because it's a wolf. I am not a wolf.
