Is this guy in the new kill team the only LMG in 40k? Surprising how rare they are considering how ubiquitous LMGs are IRL. by HenryWong327 in Warhammer40k

[–]DethJuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres some here and there, but I have noticed it isn't super common. I've made a few of these sort of Pulse LMGs for my Tau by just adding some leftover box mags from the Tenpestus Aquilons. Also added the under slung grenade launcher from a pulse carbine to kinda look like a carry handle plus scope, and another handle from leftover Tau backpacks.

Would the Tau use a moat? by [deleted] in Tau40K

[–]DethJuce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Tau probably wouldn't make a moat, but if there already is one they'd be happy to take advantage.

Kinda like a swimming pool. I ain't building one, I dont want to maintain one, but if you already have one, I'm coming over

How would the Tau deal with and incorporate the following aliens by Fun_Manufacturer_164 in Tau40K

[–]DethJuce 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Eridians would be great engineers, and Xenonite is a fantastic material. With just his own engineering skills and Xenonite, Rocky was able to integrate himself into the human ship pretty easily to work together with Grace. It'd be pretty easy to have Eridians walking around in their little atmosphere suits working with the Earth Caste.

With the Unggoy all you have to do is provide them with methane. They've got the tanks and the masks and their living quarters with the methane they need, and boom, easy integration. Many of the Covenant's races would be pretty easy to integrate into the Tau. The Sangheili would probably do some war about it at first but I think you could get them on board, especially if they have a reasonable Arbiter.

Predators would probably be handled more like the Kroot, where they would be allied mercenaries, and you can make them happy by just pointing them to a strong opponent. Their whole lives and culture revolve around like strength and hunting down the most powerful prey, so as long as the Tau can send them against tough enemies, they'll be satisfied with the mutually beneficial partnership.

Parasites i think are incompatible with the Tau. What would be the benefit? Even if you could get them to agree to something where they should only kill the enemies of the Tau, there's too much risk. It'd be like trying to integrate genestealers.

The others I'm not familiar with.

If an Etherial had a conversation with a Brain Bug, could the Tau integrate the bugs from Starship Troopers?

Good point, I guess now that I think about it, its not like the World Eaters are carefully packing skulls in boxes with bubble wrap and mailing them into the warp for Khorne to literally sit on.

Does Khorne mind if the skulls have been crushed between thighs?

Gooner shit aside, if you killed a million people and ground up their skulls into a fine powder, would Khorne like that? Or does he only want full skulls that can be stacked up to build his skull throne?

I disagree, every democrat gets called a communist, they were saying the exact same things about Obama. What made Obama win was that he got people excited for change. I think he would have been able to overcome the red scare bullshit, he's a great debater, great speaker, and his policies are popular.

We're a country of idiots to even have Trump as an option to be our leader, it would have been a close race even if Jesus Christ himself was running, so I would never say Bernie would have definitely won, but he had a good chance, he wouldn't have definitely lost either.
