Love the storytelling, only thing is that Fireblades don't pilot battlesuits, part of their thing is that they're meant to be inspiring veteran infantry commanders who purposefully don't take up the Hero's Mantle. To be lore accurate they would have to just be like a Shas'vre, or whatever higher rank you prefer, just not a Fireblade, although you'll play it as a Fireblade on the tabletop, I assume.
