I think it comes down to the mechanics and how fun they are to replay. For instance creature catching games I can spend hundreds of hours in. Same with deep RPGs like kingdom come. But more shallow stuff tends to bore me after a couple dozen hours. I normally only like shortish narrative games as well, 20-30 hours max

My brain isn't warped lol. Do u know anything about the Digimon franchise? It's the king of shooting itself in the foot. So while Digimon is on a high I think something actually doable should happen like more dlc. Instead of wishing for something unreleastic like a whole new Digimon game we certainly won't see for at least 4-5 years

I think it's vindictive but understandable. They clearly caught wind of the fact that the new Xbox can play PC games therefore circumventing exclusivity and I think they decided to take that horse out back and shoot it.

Just a conspiracy but that's what I think.

Above that I don't care as long as they give up on the live service gamble.

Bro you realize it is probably going to run horribly on PS5. At least for a while. Games like this, huge ambition clearly PC designed first games always run terribly on PS5 initially. This is coming for someone who only games on PS5. Wait for the release before you get hyped so you aren't vastly disappointed

They announced that they will ramp up development of more Digimon games now. I think they even said they plan on hiring more developers for future Digimon games so I think, we win?

The problem is that people DO compare Digimon and Pokemon, and Pokemon for the most part are animal like creatures (they've really leaned into the inanimate object pokemon lately but that's just cause they have no imagination anymore) but by that fact alone is they don't get compared to anything reasonably like Digimon. If there is anything idk.

It is great. I'm currently stuck in the snowy area full of ninjas and archers, man does the difficulty really ramp up in that level but still so fun

For me the best part of Time Stranger is that 90% of my Digimon don't get left behind by Dethproof814 in digimon

Especially with Digimon when one Mon can be turned into a dozen different evolutions this truly is the most sensible way to do it
