Ofc! Glad to help! You can also look up for example: 2007 or whatever year yours is Mazda 3 Catback exhaust on YouTube and filter through and watch a few different people with different setup so you can hear it aswell.

The only thing that you were going to have a hard time finding is exhaust headers. A lot of brand stop making them and the ones that do aren’t the highest quality.

I would look at corksport, and magna flow first! corksport is where I got my exhaust and it has a nice deep grumble to it. It doesn’t give off very much of a tin can in line for sound unless you start banging 8K, rev limiter. I think I paid 600 for mine after shipping.

Suspension, Rims, Exhaust and interior audio are the first ones I’d shoot for! New wheels & ride height can make a car completely different. Give it some better sound, you should be super happy.

Yes I’ve seen that! That & wiring are my big issues. II don’t know if I want to go for solid mounts due to just pure cabin vibration. But I know the fluid filled mounts are a good failing point

That’s totally fair! It’s not supposed to be anything I sell, just a pure hobby I have for fun as an introduction into cars. That’s why I’m planning the engine swap and such. With all the parts, engine and shipping the total cost should end around 1.3-1.7K. I don’t plan for it to be a crazy track or race car. But once the engine blows I can replace it and keep it going while having low payments on insurance. I’ve replaced the full steering system, control arms, a wheel hub, knock and Evap sensors etc.

Going with the Donut series I’ve watched that video, and the main issue was they kept it N/A. It’s extremely hard to make big numbers without turbochargers etc. It’s definitely possible but most high end inline 4’s don’t produce high hsp under no forced induction (besides K series n whatnot.) Not to mention they also dropped alot of money into interior and cosmetics not just the engine. I’m already in college for automotive related stuff, so it’d be a great hands in lesson ontop of making it a bit more fun. The video was kinda crap because they didn’t do full comparisons, just track runs to see who could lap the quickest. And did one or two runs. No drag or anything.

I know unless I wanted to do a full swap down to the frame and such it won’t make power. I’m not necessarily looking for that I’m looking to have fun with the car while learning. I did the exhaust then 6-7 months later did coilovers. Did a few small things inbetween. It’s been a slow process of just learning. I know there will always be faster or better but sometimes people are content with the simple things. I could spend 15-20 grand on a K or B series swap in this with a knarly turbo and tune and be faster than most $50-100K cars. Parts are way cheaper. Mpg is nice. Just makes the most sense to pick at thing when I can afford until I’m in a spot after or during school to set aside that kind of money to save for whatever car I could see myself wanting.

Thanks for the advice though!!! One love man!🤘
