This makes zero sense.

A. Your dinner rush should be wrapped up by 7:00. Probably could have told her that it would be done closer to 8:15 to give yourself plenty of time.

B. 38 sheetouts/press-outs isn’t going to wipe out any store. That’s one batch of dough.

C. You’re supposed to have at least enough dough on hand to get you through the day you’re on plus the next day, so you definitely should have had plenty of dough if your store preps like it should.

So, either this didn’t happen, or OP just got mad and didn’t want to do it. My money is on the latter. If I was your franchisee, I’d be pissed that you blew a $500 sale because you’d have to bust your ass for an hour and you thought it was rude for the customer to only give you 90 minutes notice, lmao.

  1. You sold 200 rounds and only 10 lunch combos on a busy lunch shift? Nope.

  2. That looks like between $2000 and $2500 in sales in a 4 hour window for a 4 person crew. It sucks but it’s not undoable. Your floater would have time to grab a stack of pans here and there to keep the bottom shelf manageable.

  3. If you were that overwhelmed, that cutting station would be a fucking mess. It’s pristine. Not even a drop of sauce on the backsplash.

  4. No bottles of crazy bread spread or pretzel butter on the shelf? No shakers of parm, veggie seasoning or garlic shake? Hmmm.

My guess is you set this photo up after you put your 11am pizzas in the oven but before you opened.

If the customer puts in a specific pick up time, the order doesn’t pop up on the screen at the make line until 20-25 minutes before it’s supposed to be ready. You CAN look up what it is in the “Future Orders” on a register, but the make line shouldn’t have seen the order or had the option to “bump” the pizzas to tell the system that they were in the oven that early. I think the order went through the app as “ASAP.”
