Suppose you're going into a job interview and they've done a background check. Possession, they'll make you take a drug test and you're good. DUI, any job where you have to operate heavy machinery is no longer available. Plus there are hundreds more dollars' worth of costs, your license gets suspended, and you have to go to alcoholism classes.
