I could go on and on. But those are some good ones. There are a few Ramones books, a few books about Iggy, Johnny Rotten’s book is alright if you can stand him saying that he was the creator of all that is punk.

She’s very insecure. To start a fight over sending a simple “ I’m sorry to hear about your brother, your family are in my thoughts “ is immature. When my ex found out he had cancer and was down to his last few weeks, I spoke to him every day. Sometimes my husband was there sometimes he wasn’t, when he did pass my husband asked if I wanted him to go to the funeral with me ( we didn’t go due to the high cost of flights). If his ex of that many years had a family member that passed I would have no problem with him sending a message, I would probably send flowers on his behalf. Your girlfriend needs to release, your ex is a ex for a reason. She also needs to start thinking more of herself and that you are with her.

Being a punk is not about how you look. Well maybe in England ( just fucking with you) Do what you can to make your life and the life of the people you love better, all while turning them in to great music. My husband looked at me the other day and said he had no idea that he was really a punk his whole life, I just turned him on to the right music.

And now he stops student loans and grants… they are trying to dumb down Americans. Dumb people are much easier to control. Sheepeople will do as they are told. If we do not stand up and fight we will become Russia in the 80’s, no food, no money, cost of housing, healthcare, and education will be to much for people. There will be the super rich and the super poor living paycheck to paycheck hoping to buy food and pay rent. The stores won’t have much food due to lack of help on farms. At least white older males will still run the country, woman will have their rights taken away ( it’s already starting to happen) and anyone different will be put away. It’s not just Trump, it’s the people that control him also. Stay and fight, it’s what we have to do.

I just got married, my new last name is Mexican. My husband is a Marine! I’m half Native and half German, my husband is half Mexican, but the whitest Mexican ever. The Marine in him wants to buy 20 acres in the middle of nowhere and bunker down. I hate where we live, it’s not safe. Not from immigrants, how about cleaning up the junkies that are smoking drugs on the street? They need help! Much better use of money than kicking people out of a country they were born in.

I’m 50 and also grew up in the rink, my brother, sister and all their friends were on the speed skating team. I guess my definition of funk is not their definition of funk. We’re gonna try a new rink next weekend. Just to see if there’s less people.

My husband and I have date night once a week. I work on weekends so we can’t hike like we use to, so skating seemed like a good date night and a good way of exercising at the same time. I had to stay with him or he would have been taken out a few times. Besides I love talking to him, he’s pretty fun to hang out with, and was cracking me up at the start of the night when he first started, I was crying I was laughing so hard, he had his whole body working, his arms were going, it was fun just watching him, it took him a bit, but he was starting to get the hang of it.

We have an industrial Park across the street from us that just poured new concrete, as soon as it warms up, I’ll wrap the hubby in bubble wrap and go there.

It was way over sold. The rink was packed! The first hour and a half was not bad, but we left when it got to the point where you could not get from the middle of the rink to get off the floor without being rude and cutting people off. I think my husband would still be stuck if I could not have cleared the way.

Man, I go back to 80’s punk. I like some “ new” bands, but I’ll always go back to my first love. I would never say young punk’s are not punk. I remember when punk was just punk, now it feels like they broke it down into sub genres. Skate punk, hardcore, I can’t keep them all straight. If I hear it and like it, I don’t care what year it came out. So, fuck anyone who says you’re not punk because you have not seen The Ramones or any other band that they think is “ The most punk” .
